Everyone is playing sentinel one way or another on thier team, and if you use turbo functions, you pretty much have a win on your hands.
Now I feel like playing with sent, but then again there are ways to break him down, but idk which route I want to take…
Woo, got my copy in the mail today, complete with that Shuma Gorath shirt.
I believe the capcom store had a promo if you bought the game from there you would get the shirt, where as gamestop had the system skins.
Like the Dudley shirt, no way I’m wearing that thing. I like my Broken Tier MASH UNTIL IT WORKS shirt better. If anyone wants the shirt, I’ll give it away for free lol.
So far I think my team is gonna be Chris/Chun-Li/Hsien-Ko. Chun-Li is really amazing in this game, and so easy to combo with. I’m a bit surprised they took away her overhead special move, but she has her neckbreaker command overhead back, and it’s faster than it ever was I think. I used to abuse that shit out of that move in ST and Alpha 2 on a knockdown.
if you’re talking abt the shuma shirt, I’ll take it if you don’t want it, lol. I store it away for the right moment to wear it, orrr…just save it for collection purposes har har…

How are you liking Hsien Ko? I was playing around with her a bit, she’s definitely got some potential. She’s slow but of course, with the right assist she can get in pretty damn good and with that she has a lot of options once she does. Her jumping H is no joke!!!

I used to play alot of Darkstalkers, so I’m kinda right at home with her. I love her ability to reflect projectiles, so handy in a game like this, her teleport dash is real nice, although slow, it goes through just about everything like it did in Darkstalkers. I always liked her diverse set of normals with their range, and her assists are very handy. Using her super armor hyper and swapping her out to give her super armored assists is pretty cool too, and it pauses the timer on the duration. Only problem is if she tanks massive multi-hit moves, damage scaling doesn’t take effect and she gets hurt alot.

Still trying to see if people want SSF4 Ranbats or MvC3. I can do both, one ranbat on one week and one the next.

I’m so starved of the game, it was a mistake to not bring my xbox and copy with me, and now CTF is closed so I cant go there to practice =/
@Cole - Syracuse tourny was pretty good. At first I thought it would only be Gary, Wong, and myself but Minh and some of his friends came and also Jeff (Cyberevil) was there. Wong placed top 6 or 5, not sure. The people playing there had some pretty weird but decent combinations on their team. The competition was filled with a lot of shenanigans too but since it’s like week 2, it can be passable. Wish you were there man, there was only one good Wesker there. I’m sure you would’ve made it pretty far.
Be sure to be ready for some Ammy though 
Ah well, thems the breaks. Props to you guys that went, wish I coulda gone since I feel like my execution was at a really good place, but there will always be more tourneys.
There were alot of people playing Ammy eh? I figured since she’s certainly really strong… Were many/any people making use of Glaive Stance? I’m interested to see how that develops since it feels like its going to be strong but a little bit harder to use.
Was sentinel on like every team? lol I hope so, I feel like my team is really well equipped to handle him even in god-mode l3 x-factor. Also, do you remember what team comp won? Sorry for flooding with questions, but I’m pretty hype in general to play this game competitively.

Nah, that’s the thing man. Only like two people were using Ammy but one guy was REALLY good with her and made her look sooooo annoying! that guy beat Wong out. Ammy is THE Sentinel killer. He was doing OTG combos off of Deadpool’s Katana-Rama.
There were shit loads of sentinels haha. I just laughed when I played against one. The winner used Wesker/Tron/Sentinel.
His Wesker was good but his Tron was sick nasty. He had some good strats with Sentinel too. Other than his sentinel though, I thought Wong had the most solid sentinel there. He was the fastest reacting on his openings and got his combos down.
He has two videos recorded. I’m not sure if Syracuse put them on the tube yet though. The Wong vs Glory match was really good. A lot of high level shit going on.
Yeah unless the sentinel player is really on-point with his movement options, Ammy just shits on him so hard with cold star, you can cover any approach with the different angles. She can also rush him down if the sentinel player gets frustrated and spams out HSF for no reason. SJ->air dash = combo’d sentinel. In Reflector Stance, I think she might be able to do at least 2, maybe 3 loops of j. M, j. C x3 into the normal reflector combo on sentinel. On most characters that arent tiny, you can do 2.
Interesting to hear that Tron was played that well. I havent seen much out of ppl with Tron, but I guess the potential is there. Glad to see that your brother was pro’ing it up too =D
