My ultimate answer from Henrietta was to download the demo on my PS3. I hung up at that point.

yeah i made my supergun, its ghetto as hell lol. I have it in a lil craft box, but for my first sg it works wonders!

Well Including Tekken 3, I have Tekken 2, Tekken Tag, and Tekken 4.
I was thinking abt getting umk3 or killer instinct, but I have mame for that, and before I built my new pc, I couldnt play tekken 2 or 3 or tag well. But this new machine plays them perfect.
I did have in mind of building a cab someday, and just have all those games in a switch, just so I can have that arcade old school feel one more time. But sadly I don’t have all the tools I would need. and a truck for the wood lol.
I used to play the hell out of Killer Instinct back in the day. I’d love to build a cabby of my own, but I don’t even know where to begin really. I’d probably make a classy Neo-Geo style cabinet and put together a collection of SNK’s best fighters before going bankrupt.
So does your Supergun only support games on Namco’s hardware or can it support more than one type? I’m a bit fuzzy on how Superguns work, I’ve seen a few on Ebay that support things like Hyper Neo-Geo 64, Naomi and Atomiswave. And you have sticks you can connect to it?
If you put some Samurai Shodown on then you’ve got my attention. I’ve been getting into Samurai Shodown so much lately, thanks to Nam and Paul of course. I’m itching for some En Garde’s and “Double Fatarity”.
Also, I’m out of line for the dates, there IS an EGS tomorrow? not sure when you guys finish and/or on break. If the weather is nice to me then I’m definitely going to be there.

Supergun’s will only run jamma games which is the standard for arcade games, there are mod’s for sega’s line of model games, and for neo-geo mvs carts, you will also need a jamma adapter to run the game, but there are naomi and neo geo emulators, of if anything you can always attempt to build a mame cabinet, and u put an arcade video card in your pc and it will be close.
Also for the controller, when building a supergun, the controller must be built around the neo geo pinout. I didnt build an arcade stick for it though, I’m using a neogeo cd controller! works great, and the nub is awesome lol.
also if you want, go to the neogeo forums if you havent heard abt it already, and you can learn anything from neogeo, including making superguns, mods, build cabs etc. check out jamma nation x as well, its made by a guy thats on neogeo forums, goes by the name xian xi, he helped me alot while i was building my supergun.
Sounds pretty awesome. If I could get a Supergun setup, I’d totally get The Rumble Fish 2. It never got a home console release. I played a bit of the first game and is was pretty interesting. Although with Atomiswave emulation now playable, it’s probably only a matter of time before it’s running. I used to have an account at the Neo-Geo forums, but I’ve long since forgotten it. I’ll make a new one and check out some threads.
Well, I’m going to EVO so I should probably be training in mainstage games but I have a feeling I’m going to be there for the casuals. I heard there was Samsho so if you guys play 2 or 5 Special I have a pretty solid Nakoruru and Rera/Rimururu in each, respectively. The new ECOLE game got me all worked up to play Melty as well, offer is still there. My stick is modded to work on just about anything and I have most of the fighters that were released on PS2.
I’ve been playing Waku Waku 7 :bgrin: I’ll polish up my game in karnovs/cyberbots/sailor moon if I ever get to meet the poverty game crew of upstate.

Samurai Showdown as well, I like to dabble with a little bit of everyone, but I am pretty comfortable with Nako in 2 and in V Special. Ever play Tenka xerzec? Game runs like shit in my PS2 emulator, I really wanted to try it out, looked interesting with all the different systems from each game that are selectable. Makes me a bit sad the game lacks the presentation Samurai Shodown was known for with the blood, fatalities, etc.
Wonder if I still have my copy of Waku for Saturn, I know I have a lot of Saturn fighters stashed somewhere.
But please do pursue Rumblefish 2! I was waiting for a home release and enjoyed playing the first one when I came across it in Chinatown.
So if there is EGS tonight I will be coming down. Weather seems pretty good besides the gales. Anyone else coming? I’ll have some MvC2 running for a bit, if not the whole night.
EDIT: Wong is coming along with me! soooooooooo yes. Also if any of you are wanting to play the MvC3 demo, Wong played it at the best buy at our house. Ridgemont Plaza. It’s the full cast and you can play through Arcade I think. and Versus works too. not sure, he only told me that Galactus was a bitch. So yes, get your arses down here if you want to play.

I had fun with CvS2 tonight, I’ve never actually got to play that against anyone that knew the game at all lol. Vihn, your bro’s Blanka and Rolento had me on the ropes so hard. Real good shit.
Next week I’ll be playing dat Marvel. But maybe I can make room for Samurai Shodown while waiting turns? Might depend on how many setups there are. If you guys ever need an extra PS3 setup, let me know.
