I had fun with 3S again this week, also I didn’t catch his name, but whoever I played Karnov’s Revenge with, you are my hero. I didn’t think ANYONE around upstate played that game. Good shit. HDR was fun too, I don’t get to play that often enough compared to regular ol’ ST. I dunno who that Dee Jay player was, but that was some great lock down he pulled on me.

My AH3 copy (PS3) is coming soon, anyone in Rochester want to level up? I’m new to the series. I also play BBCS and Melty.
I’m probably not buying MvC3 for a while, so whenever my PS3 comes to EGS, it’s SSFIV/MvC2/HDR (among other unspeakable Namco games…oh shush, I had fond memories of Tekken 3). So if MvC3 ranbats were held, it might be problematic.
Luis - I’m still gladly play SSF4, but will focus on MvC3 for a bit.
I played AH1 a bit and would check out AH3. I play BB too but am waiting for the patch.

Hey guys, I used to come up to RIT for guilty gear a couple years ago and now with the release of mvc3 coming up I’m looking to get back into the Rochester scene. I’ll be keeping an eye on the thread and hopefully I’ll see some of you guys soon. I play pad so I hope that’s ok.
Also, I played ssfiv for a little while so I can fill in as a training dummy with my makoto if necessary lol
I’ve had my copy of MvC3 pre-ordered for months, so I’m good to go. I’m looking forward to trying out Haggar, along with Hsien-Ko (Loved her in the Darkstalkers games), and I wanna try out Taskmaster. I’ll probably try out everyone til I find a team I like.

I’ll be playing MvC3 full-time when it comes out. I’ll still be playing SSF4, but with AE coming and having had the chance to play it, I dont feel it makes a whole lot of sense to focus really heavily in that game when I’m going to have to make substantial changes to my game anyway in AE.
That being said, I’m probably going to be pretty behind alot of you guys since I never really played MvC2 as anything besides screwing around before maybe a month ago. I feel like in a month I’ve gotten a reasonable foundation behind the game mechanics, but I’ll be learning as I go (though I think we all will be).
Current plans are Wesker (Samurai Edge for OTG), Dante (AAA), and Amaterasu (Cold Star lockdown). Seems like its going to be viable to DHC from/to Maximum Wesker from anything, and I know Elements is amazing for both chip and damage, so it seems like it could be a strong team… Obviously this is just some heavy theory fighter.
Vinh - I read your blog, and yeah the hype for mvc3 is enormous! I myself did start to hate ssf4, and with the AE rolling around, I did lose motivation for the game due to not knowing the changes to characters I would use, and because Yun is a character I loved playing with in the 3’s so I do want to play with him! lol.
As for making mvc3 the main, I think it would be the right choice, and have ssf4 on the side. I know me and ray are getting the game at launch, and if there’s a midnight release, we will be attending that as well, so we could being play immediately.
But starting off I will be using pad, since I don’t have a stick atm for ps3, since that’s the system I’m getting it on, and ray will get it for 360, and will rent the ps3 version when he can.
So hopefully this will turn to a big turnout, it will equal more fun! 
So who’s showing up tomorrow night Weather seems to be improving a bit after that shitstorm last week. I’ll have my laptop for any classics people might be interested in. Last week despite only a few people showing up, we had a few good rounds of 3S and KOF98UM (More people need to play this!).
Next week it’s gonna be all Marvel, nobody is gonna wanna play these caveman era fighters anymore.
I changed my schedule at work so I’m not out early enough to go anymore, so I’m out. There’s going to be an MvC3 tournament at the E-gamers Exchange in I believe Syracuse on February 26th. Anyone that wants to go, let me know. We’ll try to work some stuff out.
On a side note, both of the two local Best Buys that are supposed to have the MvC3 demo up are clueless and don’t have it. We’ll have the game before they have the demo up.
Yeah my homeboy called yesterday, and for the greece best buy, they said they didn’t hear anything, and the lady said but we have littlebigplanet lol. and then the one in henrietta, they put him on hold and transfered him to 3 departments, just so he could get a “i don’t know in the end”, better off just waiting for the game than the demo.
Running Wild - Even if everyone plays marvel, I’ll still play old fighters. I always play my old fighters from time to time. I even dusted off my supergun and play some T3 earlier lol.
