yeah, plateauing sucks. I was plateaued/not doing well in AE. I took a long break and it helped a lot. I recommend taking a break, like you’re doing, but try not to focus too much on other games that you forget to think about your AE game.
Yeah it bites, cause I feel like I just got so good so incredibly fast and now I’m just…lilijaslfjhsdaflkjh!
For now I just study frame data a bit, goof around with my friends/troll other people in Endless and just practice combos in UMvC3, still have no idea how to play that game but the combos are fun to do.
My buddy hit a 4500pp Seth with a lvl 9 turn around punch, dirty bull and won the set by just gabbing the other night, greatest thing I’ve seen in SF in a while.

serious posting, dave. you egged him on and he still apologized for biting so that guy is mad cool in my book. he was clearly on full tilt by the end like me after a night of online sf4 or offline marvel. had to smh @ the online-induced sloppiness but it evens out if you accept it.
and i’m not marvel bashing, the manic sandbox style is flat addictive. i come out of it feeling like i’ve run a marathon, if marathons added calories.

Viper synergy with Thor ? Thoughts ?
Viper can make use of ground bounce pretty well from mighty smash , and boosts burning kick gives me an unblockable/hard to block situation , or hammer gives me extended combos to might smash stuff . Tho… I think their DHC synergy isnt strong …
if there is dhc synergy its prolly more viper to thor, although you could potentially dhc after a command throw super with her otg. I’m not all that knowledgeable on thor abilities so that’s all I can offer.
Alright, so after getting many suggestions to play KOF13 and hearing many good things about it, I started to consider getting it (also since i fixed my ps3 :DD).

(Good cheap deal for it) and I’m about to make an impulse purchase. But being the smart buyer that I am… I want to make sure that I don’t buy it and let it go to waste.
SO: Anyone in this bitch have KOF13 for PS3 and would play with me online? I saw Matt’s post about a netplay patch so that makes me more inclined to buy it, since I don’t have anyone to play with offline.
Also, any suggestions on characters that I’d like to use? I generally like fast characters, with good mixups, and good rush down. Good damage is a plus, good footsies also a plus, and moderate execution requirements sounds good to me.

and a friend of mine suggested Yuri, Benimaru, and Kyo or Karate man. I’ll probably go for Kyo. Sounds good to me.

Regarding Viper/Thor, they actually have okay DHCs. The real boon is the assist makeup, though. Smash is required for Thor as it lets her relaunch without spending meter–something she lost for the most part in the transition to Ultimate. Burning Kick is probably best for Viper to help Thor set up situations where he can start a combo as opposed to extending it. They work okay together, but that’s just about it–it’s okay.
