@Syracuse: Mainly SF4, maybe 2-3 for BB( I’m gonna guess it’s gonna be BB:CT), and maybe 1 for T6.
Regarding Cyberstorm Meetup:
What days will be good for you guys next week? Personally next saturday&sunday (Feb13th & 14th) are bad days for me as Chinese New Years is that saturday and I won’t be around on Sunday. Upcoming weekend is good, but not sure if you guys are ok with that short of a notice. Get back to me with availability.

Ok, here we go!
So during the aftermath of the Saturday Meeting at my apartment, the main group of 7-8 people expressed interest in getting Rochester RanBats going for SF4!
As for a date, I’m thinking on February 20th(Next Saturday). I’ll throw something up on the Events thread on SRK to gauge interest. Tentatively it’ll be at my apartment and it will be free, this will stand as long as my living room can hold people.
2 Setups will be guarenteed with a possible 3rd.
Format will be round robin(everyone plays against everyone) if there’s < 12 people otherwise it’ll be Double Elim Brackets.
If you are new, please please state you are coming so I don’t accidentally turn you away at the door because I don’t know who you are.
The purpose of these is to encourage competition between players and promote the urge to Level Up your game as Rochester SERIOUSLY needs!
I’ll have a thread in the events section later tonight! Also, the people that post here that play, if you know a friend that’s a closet Player, AKA some like DAVID, please get them on this thread

God, this is frustrating. I usually work Saturdays making it hard for me to show up for the ranbats or tourneys. Couldn’t find someone to cover for me this Saturday. Having a bitch of a time getting someone willing to cover for me next weekend for Syracuse.
The buses to get to RIT for EGS suck ass. Either I can catch the bus, and have it drop me off who knows where on campus (Gleason Cir? I don’t know the campus) a good 90 minutes before EGS, and wait around until 8 before anyone is available to meet me so I can show up at EGS. Or take a cab to Lovin Cup (since no bus stops there as far as I see on RTS site) so I’m not out in the fuckin’ cold for over an hour, and can relax with a book until 8.
I really would like to actually get a chance to game with everyone again. I’d be willing to bite the bullet and spend the $20 or so I’d expect cab fare to cost once in a while to get there so I’m not stuck outside (at least until it gets warmer). Does anyone have suggestions? Fuck, I almost feel like I’d let someone torture me by making me sit through Twilight if it meant being able to game with everyone IRL again. (Please, don’t take me up on that. Seriously).
If you can, try making it today Suresh, I’m in the process of setting up right now, want to get things on the way by 6:00PM people gonna start showing up at 5:00pm

Thanks to all that came, well people are actually still here(Five Guys for food soon!) We got 9 strong here today, hopefully next one can get some new faces and some old faces that we haven’t seen in a while!
Hey Roc, just trying to get a head count on who is planning to come this weekend for the tournament. If you could take a few to pre-reg in any of the tournaments threads (the SRK one could use some bumps) that would be appreciated.

12pm registration
1pm - BB, TvC tournies
2pm - 3pm - T6 & SF4
There will be 4 stations for T6 and 4 for SF4.

Hey guys, Grifter referred me to this thread. I am in the Rochester area and would like to join up and play sometime. I am not the greatest, (ask Grifter about our three-match night, best out of 5, me not winning ONE ROUND), but would like to play and maybe learn some new techniques.

I know Grifter and jinxedrat and a few other locals are there for the summer, but with me and my apartment now gone, I’m not sure who or where is hosting for now. =/ The college kids will be back in the Fall and I think I might come back for a visit in the Fall to run a back to school tournament to prime the hype so the community doesn’t crumble over there.

Okay so I talked to one of my roommate for next year and he says it shouldn’t be a problem to host people once a month. David said he can do the same and so did Abe. If we really can’t find someones apartment to play at, there’s always Cyberstorm.
