Waiting for a tier 7 opponent

Does your tier deteriorate over time or something? I was searching for Tier 7’s yesterday, bbut this morning it was Tier 6 (with no lost matches in between either).

I Can’t wait for this game to get a Ranked Player UI for online, at least being able to see your opponents name pre/mid match would be gdlk, and bookmarking teams a la MvC3 sound perfect for this game too, glad they decided to grab one of the few good ideas MvC3 had…

BlazBlue matchmaking takes FOREVER some times, so at least that game has an army of offline content to offset it. But with the lack of extensive offline modes in Skullgirls I imagine buffing the online would be a #1 priority at this point, only second to DLC characters (coughSquigglycough cough).

True ELO does(or should) deteriorate over time you may of been on the border of that tier and dropped.

Or someone is playing when your away #sneaky

i still find it funny that anyone plays any fighting game online in ranked mode. you can’t run sets and get better in ranked

it’s for epeen

True enough.

That’s why I just play people here and gave up quick match.

I just wanted to be on the Skullgirls leaderboard heh.

But ranked is the only reason I have any sense of self-worth at all

How will I cope with life now :frowning:

I’m on Tier 8. It’s safe to say that I never go on quick match anymore. lol

Sometimes I like to just get into a game without having to wait. I’m too impatient to search for rooms and host one myself.

It makes you better at recognizing different play styles on the fly and adapting to specific situations extremely quickly. This makes you an overall better tournament player and you are less likely to be “randomed out”. While running sets is beneficial in working on specific matchups etc trying to say that you can’t get better on ranked is completely ignorant.

yeah, you sure learn alot by those random players who aren’t very good and ragequit after one combo

Yeah, long sets are much better. Quick matches though are nice for finding our character specific gimmicks, because everyone busts out their gimmick on ranked, so you can at least learn the gimmicky shit so that it doesn’t beat you when it actually matters.

Actually, running sets are better at making your learn that particular opponent’s quirks than actually learning the matchup. You need the right mindset to not fall into this trap.

this games online is smooth. but I cant EVER get a game. EVER. it just sits there and does not connect. I waited 4 hours last time.
