I may be down for that Final Round
There is only one thing that could prevent me from going that I could think of, and I’ll try to work around it if at all possible. I still haven’t traveled to a major, and I think my Ryu needs the experience.

Man the last MvC3 writeup on Eventhubs has me really hype for that game, I’m hoping to play something along the lines of C.Viper/Deadpool/Morrigan…those characters all look so fun to me (hopefully Morrigan’s trap thing is actually good at high level)
I’ve been reading Tekken 6 forums and learning what I can about that game, I’ve never been anything but a scrub at 3D fighters but I’m hoping to get into it this semister, game looks really fun
Also…MB:AA is at Final Round…need to get on learning that game

When: we’re switching things up this time and holding T3 on Saturday, Febuary 5th, 2011 … with a weekend date this time around we’re looking at easier access for our working peeps, and uptowners, but also an earlier start time; 5pm
Where: Tilt Studios Arcade, in the Cirlce Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis, we’ll be running it in the Theatre room like last time
$$$: okay so tournament entry fees are thus; SSF4 - $10, 3S - $10, or enter both tournaments for a total of $15… anyone who supplies a setup for either tournament will have their entry fees reduced. $10 for the joint price and $8 for a single tournament… for your benifit as well as others i’m encouraging everyone to enter both games
** Payouts ** the payout goes like last time; the players who take 1st and 2nd place in each tournament will recieve a Tilt gamecard prize and split half the entire pot for that game 70/30, and 3rd placers will get a gamecard useable at the arcade
this tournament will also serve as a pre-meeting for Naptown Clutch which will be taking place 2 weeks later. bascially an excuse for me to talk to everyone, garner help and advice where we need it and make sure all the ducks are in line

New mantis cr.MP looks every bit as godlike(fast!) as I thought…I’m really happy about that change
New comand combo = not as pathetic damage and meter building
Crane j.MK didn’t crossup a couple of times I expected it too…I’m wondering if they messed with the hitbox to make it more ambiguous or if my eyes are just playing tricks on me, the faster crane U2 is really nice too
Even with most of his ridiculously bad matchups getting nerfed I don’t think I’ll consider maining Gen but it looks like he’ll be a much more fun alt to have
SSF4 Yang looks like…3S Yang…can’t wait to play him

Speaking of that, head to Eventhubs NOW. Some matches of JWong’s Yang were posted on there, including one against Marn’s Yun. If you’re looking for some Yang beasting vids, that should do the trick. He lands Ultra I several times in there, too, using at least three different ways I could remember, but you might already know them (FADC from 2nd mantis slash, combo from close mk in the corner, and anti-air). Speaking of, have you seen the close mk > SJC> whiff dive kick> ultra? That was awesome!
Lol Yangs english voice actor is Johnny Yong Bosch, the VA for Ichigo, Vash and a lot of other characters. Fuck hes in every game.
fyi yang can also land ultra off of EX DP fadc which goes under fireballs
Wouldn’t you just use the anti-fireball ultra in that situation?
But this way you can get all the setups for his combo ultra PLUS you can still punish fireballs with big damage (if you have the meters).
He also played Guy in Tales of the Abyss… Man, he gets around.
Also, John, that’s three meters to punish a fireball… Don’t know if that would be worth it for Yang unless it’s to finish the match.
When are the weeklies starting up again? since i dont attend Purdue yet i dont know when the semester starts up
