Gen AE changes next week, get hype!
GGs last night, SSF4 gets a lot more fun when I’m actually on point with my frame traps and OSes and offence becomes viable, I need to just suck it up and practice a bunch
yeah those Rufus v Cammy matches were actually… somewhat aggressive? it almost didn’t feel like SSF4 except for all the safe reversals
on a sorta related note I’m back in the training mode with Ibuki because she’s way too damn fun to play and she’s actually getting buffed in a lot of ways in AE
I’m considering the collector’s edition MvC3 too; for ten dollars extra (- the cost of the DLC characters) it’s a ridiculously good deal
Rose vs Ryu was good stuff too, I really enjoy that matchup a lot even though my Ryu still throws way too many random EX-hado (not like Ryu has good uses for meter anyway) and sweeps
Ibuki is really cool, I’ve never seen anyone use any of her hardest combos in a match but I know she has some pretty ridiculous stuff
I will have to preorder MvC3 collector’s, doesn’t compare to the preorder thumb warriors I got with Super but whatever…I’ll take your stupid DLC toy thingy
my problem with rose last night was I was completely incapable of playing patiently. I just wanted to slide at some ankles with no regard to the fact that you were actively countering it
Ibuki does absolutely apocalyptic damage (like even more than Honda) and I’m fully expecting the train of crybabies to move on to her/Cammy/Fei when they take Honda down a notch
I think as a practical joke Eventhubs should post a totally randomized tier-list and see how many people start crying about whoever happens to be on top.
I’ve already heard a great deal of crying about Cammy and whats amazing is that a lot of them think Cammy is going to be bad in AE because of TK-dive, I think people just automatically attribute mystical powers to a technique that they can’t do, it’s like 3S players who complained about getting kara-thrown
Damn MVC 3 comes out in Feb? I thought that’d be comin out sometime in May or June… And the deluxe edition is only 10 bucks more? I’m gonna preorder that as soon as it’s available… Ya’ll should do the same lol…

After letting them sit with me for a bit the Gen AE changes have really grown on me…possible changes to crane stance like Seth Killian talked about are really important to how much he improves overall, but as far as Mantis stance goes I think his pressure, footsies, combo damage, and meter building all are getting a lot better. Hopefully I’m right this time around (or else I’ll have just have to play Yang that much more)
Blanka, on the other hand, sounds completely godawful now.
At least Rufus still looks good and Yun/Yang look promising. TEAM DIVEKICK 4 LYFE.
Also, Makoto looks beast now. I want to see where all the low-tier heroes flock.
