How does ggpo work? Can you just install it, sign on and then watch random matches?
Pretty much, you just need to download the ROM for whatever game you want to play or watch and put it in Program Files/GGPO/ROMs
So not only can Yang’s cl.MK still be jump-canceled (I assume Yun’s can too since they share that normal) but he can do it from the second hit in his three kicks command combo in SSF4, very nice Capcom, very nice

yeah you have to install ggpo and adobe air beforehand, then download sfiii3.zip and sfiii3n.zip and put them in your rom folder.

also, Mike: I was planning on getting a MC Cthulhu board in the next few weeks to dual mod my 360 stick for PS2/PS3, how hard are those to install? I might need pointers at one of the FG club meetings.

Were you going to use an imp or a switch to swap over for ps3/360? Having done both, I prefer the switch route myself. How were you going to do the cables? were you going with multiple cables sticking out or some form of rj45 type solution?
Next time there’s a PFGC meeting I can make I’ll bring my stick and the wrenches to pop it open so I can show you. I’ll admit that I did a far neater job on Tony’s stick than mine. The wiring inside his is nice and neat, mine’s a bit of a mess.
Yeah dude. Obv if you want better quality you can watch the actual recorded matches but I like seeing people’s reactions from a different view 
I don’t see Yang’s roundhouse being as ridiculous as Dictator’s unless they completely changed it from Third Strike, like it would have to be a new move basically
That said, it sounds like Yang is still going to have low damage output, low stamina, and no reversal and in SSF4 those are much bigger weaknesses then they were in SF3, I actually don’t see Capcom nerfing in this case (to be fair, I didn’t see them nerfing in Gen’s case either)
Overall it sounds like Yang will be really fun…I was dreading hearing something along the lines of “we felt that he needed a better reversal option” or that “amazing speed and pokes just isn’t Yang” but the development blog sounds great, I really like the changes to palm-strike to make it overall more useable
I am seriously considering picking up Sagat. He seems to compliment Dic well and hes pretty fun.

Really? Not that I think Sagat is a bad choice of character, but considering the stable of characters I’ve known you for (Dudley and Q in 3S, Dic in SSF IV), Sagat feels like such a dramatic turn.
I would be interested in playing that match-up now that that the Vanilla SF IV stupidity of it is gone (DP trade to ultra, Sagat still being able to take the round from 50% life easily, etc.)

I’ve been working on my H-Roa and H-Kohaku. They’re both hella fun but Roa doesn’t seem quite as deep.
So now that I have a PS3, I think I might have to bring it to fight night this week for some dedicated marvel >:D
