It turns out that only means people without DLC will be able to play against people with the DLC… Both will get the balance update… You can’t take super Guile vs AE Makoto for instance… At least that’s what I heard…

I switched my main team up a bit to Shulk/Hsien/Dormammu; I feel like I’ve been screwing myself by character hopping so much so I’m going to try to stick with it for a while
Good plan. I’ve played 3 teams over the course of this game, 2 of which had Hulk, and all 3 of which had Tron. I think it’s made me a lot stronger, just because I’ve been able to really focus my gameplan and what I need to work on at any given time.

No that would be retarded… What would be the point of balancing the game if you could just pick between versions of each character
IDK it worked with Super Turbo. Hell it even made it better.
It would basically allow you to play nerfed characters in their old state (see: every top tier character in SSF4 other than Fei and Akuma) while playing the new version of characters that got way more interesting through buffs (Hakan, Makoto). Every character winds up relatively powerful and interesting.
Except Gen.

I thought in super turbo you just picked which version you played overall… Not actually picking the version of each character individually…
So after seeing the trailer what do you guys think it means? It’s kind of confusing… Even though I think it’d be stupid to pick between character versions individually, it would kinda be cool too…
