I’ve mostly played it on the Wii’s Virtual Console with a Gamecube controller. They use legit 64s at tournaments tho.

Joe’s helmet instills him with extra health due to its magical and stylistic properties.
Though if sentinel really had 900k health, Morph would still be alive.

Was Sentinel really that bad that he needed to get nerfed this quick? I haven’t played much MvC3 but I mean, they waited until Super before touching vanilla Sagat
Sentinel is a lot more like Vanilla Gief than he is Vanilla Sagat, in that there are many ways to counter him but for new players or people who don’t know the matchup it seems really unwinnable. Also you have to completely change the way you play to beat sentinel, just like Gief, and newbies are completely unable to do that.
I remember first week losing to like every Geif I played until I found out that EX-Oga had startup invincibility. Good times
honestly Sent strikes me more as Honda: his defense is actually terrible as long as you’re approaching him at the correct angles and if he hits you you probably deserve it because he’s just got chip damage and ass mixups mostly based around a mediocre command grab

So I know I change my team like 2x a week but right now I’m thinking deadpool on point with storm anchoring. Suggestions for middle character? I was sort of thinking haggar, but you can dhc from pool into any of his unless its way early… so thats probably out. Was also thinking doom (beam) or dante (jam) would make good assist with that team… any other thoughts are appreciated.
