Comedic effect. Koran is very much the comic relief of the new Voltron show.

Like if we ever see how Koran’s parents look like, they both look like Koran in costumes.
Koran’s father would look like were trying to force Koran to look older, maybe having a pipe and Koran’s mother would look like Koran in a wig and a Dress.

It is not something you supposed to look too far into.

Like how in Pokemon, Jessie and James are masters of disguise while the audience notice it’s very obvious that it’s still Jessie and James just in bad costumes.
Its not that everyone else falls for bad disguises in Pokemon, it’s just so the audience knows that it’s still Jessie and James.

Executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos revealed that Season 3 will debut on Netflix on August 4 with seven episodes to be followed in October by Season 4 with six more all-new episodes.

That’s weird. Why not have 1 season of 13 episodes instead of splitting it up?

Because most likely Dreamworks TV working on multiple projects and most likely have to put part of Voltron on hold for other obligations and Netflix don’t feel like waiting.

• The whole “I forgot we’re married” thing seems weird. Like, did you also forget you had a child? If it’s not your child, then who’s the new wife?
• It’s interesting their respective Bayards changed for their own particular weapon. I guess it makes sense, but it was a question when they all rotated Lions. Since we saw the Princess use a staff, I thought her weapon may be one. But that doesn’t matter at all.
