It was a kids show but kids werenât watching it. Most of the viewership were teenagers and young adults. It would be dufficult for a kid to follow with all the schedule changes, times the show was dumped for Sponge bob reruns and the show moving to Nickâs site. Funnily enough, the move to online increased the showâs viewership.
One example, on a channel that is not available in every market.
How many other great shows got murdered or manhandled into wackness beyond that?

Transformers Prime was excellent. I havenât enjoyed a Transformers show since Beast Wars.
What about Transformers Armada and/or Cybertron?
Those 2 were solid.
Though i remembered that those were rewritten for the usa market, so maybe they suffered from it.
Prime is awesome. Definitely an easy keeper. And good olâ beast wars. Though I wasnât to fond of beast machines sadly despite them being back on cybertron.
I thought Armada was ok. The Armada version of Starscream is my favorite incarnation of the character. I would like for Starscream to be like that again. I hate the follow-up series Energon so I skipped Cybertron. Even back in the day I thought the CG used in those shows were ass.
Needs more Arcee and smokescreen.
As the resident voltron Stan I dunno what that trailer is suppose to do. On one hand its ok you wanna reboot voltron re introduce ok no problem but for old skool heads like myself that lived and breathed voltron its simple. You show a trailer all you have to do is mirror this.

I dunno how you do a trailer for new skool voltron and not once do I hear form blazing sword or and ill form the head. I mean i like all that extra pistons locking and added detail etc but not at least hearing at the very end of the trailer when new skool Voltron eyes glow it just has to end with and ill form the head.
I like the animation but i will proceed with the highest of caution.
I was waiting for âand Iâll form the headâ line at least once. Maybe them making fun of it as well, to show itâs a nod but also moving past it. Oh well. Still having hopes.
Weâll find out really quickly if nothing else.
So the series is out now.
Time to see if its as good as hoped.

I wasnât a fan of the original series or the franchise mainly because I found the characters to be annoying and bland, although I mainly watched it via reruns when they aired them on Cartoon Network back in the 90s in general but this current series was very entertaining. I have heard some of the die hard fans are upset with character differences from the original as far as who is what and such but this one works extremely well and all the characters even the annoying ones are pretty cool and have room to grow more developed in future seasons.
Only flaw is that its first season wasnât longer.
This series is great. Only flaw is Rhys Darby - he needs to stay away from voice work.
People bitching about character differences can get fucked. Voltron was already a localised series, and Shiro is a badass.
