I prefer the dude who voiced Deadpool in Hulk VS Wolverine. That guy nailed his personality. Johnny Kassir (Great Voice Actor by the way, he also voiced the Cryptkeeper) portrays Deadpool with a typical villain voice, and it doesn’t work. Deadpool has to be a smooth talker, while also rambling about typical insane shit.

Same here. Kassir did a fine Deadpool, but he’s definitely not as dynamic as North was. North’s is a bit zanier and livelier, which I appreciate… but I’m sure it’ll piss off people who read Deadpool in their heads with a more serious tone.

Glad to hear Blum made it as Wolvie. He’s a perfect fit for the character. BTW, you can hear Iron-Man’s voice in some of the gameplay vids. It sounds like it’s vocoded, or some shit. It sounds terrible. Certainly not his… sunday best.

Ryu’s english voice from IV is fine. Chun-Li’s (which they’re apparantly using), is not. I hope they have a jpn voice setting, or something.

Finally, Jocelot is absolutley correct.

i don’t know enough about voice acting to break down actors, actresses and who did what or whatever…
but so far not good in this game IMHO. i’m not feeling the voice acting at all…by the characters OR by the announcer.

Deadpool + serious tone of voice = failure.

That said, it’s refreshing to hear North in a role where he doesn’t sound like Drake from Uncharted.

Skrull’s VA needs to spout a few more Skrull/cosmic insults. he should at least call someone a “Son of a Sch’mag.”
