N-Cubed 2003 -Nebraska`s National in November
Not sure what happened to my original thread, but here it is again.
Last year N-Cubed was home to the best 3s events the country has ever seen. Only to be topped by Evolution this year.
Here is a rough outline of things to expect at this years N-Cubed tournament in Nebraska.
Friday November 21st - Standard Double Elim Tournaments
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Saturday November 22nd - Double Elim
Street Fighter 3 3rd Strike
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Guilty Gear XX
Capcom vs. SNK 2
SNK vs. Capcom - Chaos
All Games $10 Entry fee. Winnings split 70/20/10. Several other big prizes for top 3 winners. More on this later…
Sunday November 23rd - 3on3 Team Tournaments (State-Themed)
(and if Japan comes, USA & Nebraska vs. Japan 5on5 Round Robins in 3s)
3on3 Games - Third Strike, CVS2, GGXX & SVC Chaos
This will be a state-themed 3on3. By that I mean each team will be made up of players from their respective state. So there would be a team Cali, team Texax, team Nebraska, etc. There can be more than 1 team per state.
Entry fee $10 per person. 1st place team takes the entire pot and is evenly distributed between the 3 players. Additional non-cash prizes will be made available to 2nd and 3rd place teams.
No word yet on Japan coming to this. At least from Tokyo and Osaka players. While Im in Japan I will try and hook something up. Some of the top players here in Tokushima have expressed interest in this, but nothing is for sure yet.
To help aleve worries about joystick and button issues, FFC will have brand new, top of line and tested equipment for this tournament and all others after. Everyone has expressed their concern over this and FFC management will come through for the players just like theyve always done in the past. There will also be a technician ON HAND should a problem arise.
Keep checking back for updates on exactly when this will go down and what times tournaments start.

Frankie3s from California has said that he will be bringing more players from Family Fun with him this time around. If he can bring at least 4 others I would like to have a Family Fun California vs Family Fun Nebraska 5on5 3s Round Robin tournament for either Friday evening or to kick things off Sunday. We will see which game center breeds the better players!
I have also been informed that FFC does in fact have Japanese sticks and buttons should anyone from Japan choose to come they will be able to play on their familiar equipment.
