its double elim tourney… brackets are gonna be totalley random. I have deided im gonna seed the top placers from last toruney ( bronson, cesar) And everyone else i will make sure that no one from the same area plays each otehr first round. But after first round it cannot be helped, although you shouldnt get dueced out by the same person unless your around finals =)
its gonna be pay per play…cuz manager wont allow anythign else im guessing since he is gonna be there. Tourney is gonna be put on tourney mode so we dun have to reset the machine every match =\
** RULES**
there wil be no coutner pickin first match, if anything it will come down to blind pick if someone tries to counter pick teams first match ( eiterh pick at the same time, or tell someone who your picking) OR if someone wants a specific side they will choose side but choose there team first. Winner has to keep same team same order, no matter what. No glitches liek the gambit glitch, ruby heart glitch etc… mag/im and other infs are ALLOWED =) hope to see everyone sat~!!!

Damn you guys aren’t used to RC’s yet? Of course they’re allowed, they’re very important to high-level CvS2 play. It’s also pretty damn hard to police that shit too.

I’m planning to attend this tourney with some of my friends, and this is the first time that I have looked at this thread regarding the tournament.
I just saw a post that said that most of the players in this area aren’t entering the tournament. If that is true, what’s up with that? Me and my friends (and possibly some other peeps) will be traveling a great distance, like 3+ hours to attend this tourney. It would really suck if we go there only to compete amongst ourselves. 5 bucks is a small investment compared to us spending 5 bucks, as well as gas money, and driving for 3 hours. For 5 bucks, we’re all paying to participate, as well as watch some (hopefully) good competetion. Playing new peeps is always a good experience.
I hope everyone decides to enter, and makes this a tight tourney.

The CvS2 machine has been seperated from the MvC2 temporarily to allow for more room.
…and secondly, the management at the Vna decided against allowing the console tourney on Saturday. The order came from high management, namely that tight no good Bitch a$$ Greg (part owner of Blackbeards and the Nickel Arcade chain).

To be honest, I was hella looking forward to top-level Tekken play. I play that shit for fun at my friend’s house all the time and hardly ever play in the arcades. I wanted to see top players go head-to-head. Guess this also means no GGXX to own you guys at

A good amount from fresno, a group of Visalians (or regs at VNA) including myself, and other handfulls of peeps from other areas from around the state. So you wont have to worry lack of comp. well if i’m going to hold a CVS2 tourney in fresno, $5 per participant, it’ll be double elimination… best of 1… in the first round, winner goes to winners bracket, loser goes to loser’s bracket and the winners of those brackets will face in the finals… finals is at maximum 2 sets of best of 3, person from the losers bracket must win 2 sets while the person from the winners bracket must only win one set… no holds barred:D … similar to the way the tourney’s at San Jose State and many APEX tourney’s are… still waiting for confirmation that i can have one…

Well personally I know 4 for sure from visalia is entering. And maybe one of the regulars from visalia is mad because I pressured them to join.
