yeah…I’m very sure those weren’t reactions to the specific xfactor dash in. it looked more like his assist getting hit cosiderably earlier and him mashing on super and hoping for the best.

What I like about Viscant is he is a guy who won a tournament the best way one can hope for, just being the better and more knowledgeable player overall. Phoenix had nothing to do with the win. Viscant has opened a river of possibilities to older players who think they need JWong reflexes, you just need dat yomi son! Not to side track but I loved seeing Fuudo win SSF4 AE, almost Viscant like, just winning the tournament by being a solid player.
Honestly, it was Team Wesker, not Phoenix, people just like to shit on Jean.
Maybe it was his pocket lip balm that helped him win? See the way he whipped it out after BR Balrog beat him? LOL.
Congrats to Viscant. That was an awesome and well deserved win.

Creating self-imposed rules like that would mean you’re handicapping yourself and butchering the game (see BS restrictions on the Smash Bros. tourney scene like no items, Fox only, Final Destination :lol:). Creating such rules that don’t exist is scrub mentality. Do whatever it takes to win - especially at the big stages of fighting game tournament majors like EVO.
Viscant and the rest of the competitors know that their current teams will be different in UMvC3. Let them play how MVC3 is right now in its current form because it is what it is.
Give Viscant and the rest of the players who made it far credit. Most of them took the time to understand and dissect the game. Viscant put in a shit load of time and developed a team with chemistry and a strategy that a lot of people x-copied.

Age don’t fucking matter. When Wolfkrone got onto the scene, nobody made a big deal about his age. Everyone praised his skill and saw greatness in his potential. He has made it far by traveling to numerous tournaments across the country and putting the time and dedication to improving his game in the SF4 series.
Will Noah do the same? Will he learn how to dash? Who knows? But yes he is a prodigy and like Wolfkrone, people do see the potential in this young kid.
With EVO out of the way, get hype for UMvC3. It’s just a few months away so we’ll see how the top players adapt to the changes and additions.
