Bumping for Force being released on disk in Asia. They finally announced it’s region free yesterday.
Game’s generally not held to the standard OraTen is for competitive play (not even a left turbo, apparently 
), but it’s never been released on console before, 2v2, and has some neat new VRs and stages and stuff. Bunch of neat features on the port as well.

I finally got around to figuring out that VO can work pretty okay at a basic level on a standard stick, although there’s some special attacks that are one stick only I don’t know how to deal with (unless they work by turning) and assigning turning to the 7th and 8th buttons is kind of weird if you ever manual aim anything.

I just borrowed an xbox for VOF.
How do profiles work? I was player 1 and my friend was player 2. We played for about 2-3 hours and unlocked several VRs. After we reset the xbox, only player 1 could play the newly unlocked VRs. When player 2 tried to log back in the xbox live account, some jap message popped up, and he could only use the basic VRs instead of the newly unlocked ones. Is this because of how xbox profiles work or does this only apply to VOF?
My friend and I hit the final boss. Right when it was almost time over, my friend’s Raiden laser’ed the boss and suddenly the screen just says Mission Failed. We couldnt even continue and we’re not sure if we actually killed them. Anyone know what happened?

I love mechs but I could never get into this game.
I would blame it on design but eh, I love Senko DUO. …and Senko mechs’are’as’awful’as’designs come.
I thought Dis-United Order wasn’t released in the US? I had a lot of fun playing the first game, but no one was online EVER. So I am undefeated…after 12 games. Only 1 guy knew how to completely dodge BOSS mode. It takes a familiarity with Danmaku games, or really good spacial reasoning to figure out the safe spots from when your opponent is in BOSS mode. I think VO is a lot more intuitive than Senko no Ronde.
So is anyone playing Force?

Do you guys know of any game like VO for PC? I used to play Exteel - man I miss so much that game. I already heard about Windom XP, but I don’t like it 
I would play this more but no twin sticks makes me sad. Playing on pad is not the same for me.
