Here’s what you need to start earning Gold & Items while doing other things!

Here’s what you need:

1: Have 2 Gamertags or profiles with game data.

2: Second Controller

3: Mad Catz Arcade Gamestick http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product_id=802511

4: A coin (a Nickel works best for me)

5: Magic tape or a Band-Aid (which I used in the video).

After you have all this, do the following:

1: Select vs Mode.

2: Have the “A” button configured to “Punch” or “P”.

3: Select the profile you want that will be using the Arcade Gamestick as Player 1.

4: With player 2, you need to load the game data in order to get items. Now select any character except Jacky or Vanessa (since they have auto punch parry).

5: Start round, then pause.

6: Place the coin over the button that’s on top of the joystick, then tape over the coin using either Magic Tape or a Band Aid.

7: Set the turbo switch to 2 or 3 and turn it on.

8: If done correctly, your character should now punch repeatedly. When the round is over, it should select “Fight Again” automatically.

The best part of this trick is that you can…

SET IT, and FORGET IT!!!***

***It’s good to check on the progress so you can go to the item shop and buy another Orb for the next Orb item

The controller is easiest to find. I’ve seen em just about everywhere.

I’m almost done going through Quest Mode with Akira (no cheat) and I don’t wanna do the same with every other character, so this is a breather.

I didn’t know you got money in VS mode. I thought you had to play at the arcades for that. Good to know.

If it works for you then great but it seems pretty pointless to me. You can get everything loads quicker with the ballon trick in quest mode plus you’ll actually be learning the character during all of the fights you have, helping you to get better at the game. And if you don’t want to use any other characters then why would you want the items for them?

Is it healthy to keep your xbox turned on for that long? also you’re killing the world by wasting electricity :slight_smile:

Turbo cheat will get you money to buy cool items for all characters for offline or online quickly for gatherings.

In NYC, we always play with a game save with all items for VF4, Evo and VF5 and dress up our individual characters. For someone to do it the old fashioned way would take forever.

Protip:

To save electricity while doing the Turbo cheat, simply turn off your TV!*

To check the status on your wins/orb plate, turn the TV back ON!

well for gatherings I would imagine people would want their own character (with there own costume win/loss record). That isn’t the most straightforward thing to do but if you’re going to go to the trouble of doing this then I’d wouldn’t think you’d mind.

whatever, i can see people are using this but I still don’t really understand. I’d much rather play the game, even if it takes forever. Or just do without.

i got a Hori controller pad and it has turbo switches, I’m gonna try this trick tonight before going to bed.
