That is only a problem with Tekken 5 DR. Funny thing is the HRAP3 has the exact same problem, just with a different game: VF5…

The same problem also cropped up when using it on a PC for me, and mine was supposedly an S revision. I’m not too upset though, as I only bought it so I could mod it for PS2 use.

edit: I just ran a search for Virtua Fighter 5 Live Arena Stick and found this. Scroll two thirds the way down and you’ll see a picture of what looks like just another revision of the DOA4 stick. Bah!
Bah indeed! Good work on finding the pics, though. Nothing to see here now that it’s just a DOA stick with different art. Though the art itself doesn’t look too shabby.

Go ahead and buy one of the Horis. If you like it, great. If not, it has the best PCB for use for a custom xbox360 stick.
Word to your mother! Anyways, it is indeed a great pcb to work with. I’ll get his one since it looks better then the other virtua stick. I’ll probally mod this with black sanwa battop and sanwa with grey center and black rim (knigh/ dark.) Then I’ll have 2 and be ready for sf:hd
If you read the thread, you’ll actually see that it says they are releasing two different sticks. This is supposedly a picture of the regular Hori VF5 stick, not the ‘Live Arena’ stick.
Whether the forum post is accurate or not is another question.

can’t read japanese, so i’m not sure, but it looks like we’re getting the same spare crap (bottom right, main page…somebody please correct me). toodles did make a good point that these would be good for gutting the pcb outta, but if i were to do that, i’d just get a used vf5 one
chinodaho is right. He’s just mentioning the release date of the game itself and the stick. Not the existence of two different sticks.
