I was somewhat disappointed that a Sega All Stars Racing commercial showed the Shenmue dude and not Akira and Jacky. YOU HAVEN’T RELEASED A SHENMUE GAME IN 9 YEARS DAMN IT.
VF5’s presentation reminds me of crappy Japanese TV more than the '90s. Yes, there is a difference, I swear. The menus are nicer, and some parts of that are good while others aren’t so much, but ultimately who cares when aside from female facial models this game still looks better than every other 3D fighter released since?
The dialogue is straight cheese though, yeah. Would have been 15 years ago too, just not quite as much-plus video game writing was generally cheesier back then. Wolf is entirely faithful to his character though, but that says more about pro wrestling than anything.
Hahah, that much is true. I didn’t even know about Sonic 4 until I saw the messageboard on GameFAQs by chance and that’s supposed to be ‘The One’ when it comes to wiping the shit from the asshole that is the current Sonic. I hope to god that game is good, I used to be so into those games and now they suck ass.
problem solved. Also explains why Yakuza 1 and 2 didn’t sell as much as it could have. Now people are bitching about 3’s removal of minigames in the state along with no advertising and also being released the same day FFXIII hits.

You know what would be fuckin hlarious? Let’s say that Sega actually did release VF5R for consoles last month. Then about a month later we hear about this. How would you react by that?
Nothing new yet except a supposed leaked picture of jeffery by a surfboard. Want to keep people excited about vf. If u go to vfdc u will see that a few events are going on especially the vf gathering in california. Be warned this is a strictly vf thing. If u have never been to the california vf gathering then your missing out. VF is one of those rare games that u have to watch good people play the game instead of just watching Youtube clips.

Great prank by sega, they did a really cool job of it too. I do hope they follow this up with some more FS news though!
