If Sega ported this with GGPO netcode on PS3 and 360 that would be great. Sadly this is unlikely to happen knowing Sega, but then again we are getting Yakuza 3 now, which was something SEGA said would never happen so I have a tiny bit of hope.

I will say one thing though… I would expect a port of VF5R/S before I expect SNK to actually release a game this generation with satisfying netcode.

VF5’s netcode on 360 was QUITE good. Best non-GGPO netcode out there by far.
Yeah, I was really impressed with the matches I got on it. I played some solid overseas matches with very minimal problems.
