apparantly the virtua fighter test cabinets are only in certain areas of tokyo (the most popular spot for VF) and nowhere else (as opposed to what capcom and the like are doing) which is very bad news for people hoping for a worldwide release (including me). im not sure if this news has been posted, sorry if im repeating.

yeah I looked at Lion as well, he reminds me of Eileen, but slower (or at least it looks that way). Though he doesn’t seem as hyper/funny as Eileen and Shun. Just seeing them being played makes me want to use them.
Well I’ll get my chance to play this game come October. Hopefully my Aoi doesn’t get stomped on to bad. lol
Yeah Brad is really great to watch/use when he gets into his longer attack strings, ducking and weaving all over. One of my favourite styles in VF5, even though I can’t play him all that well.
I was kind of expecting the arcade cabs to stay in Japan only, just like VF5:R. Sega has that new arcade model where they lease cabinets rather than sell them (Supposedly to help Arcade operators keep costs down and lets them upgrade to the latest games easier), and also the fact that every cab has to be hooked into the VF net.
I don’t think it will affect any console releases though, if/when Sega decides to release a console port, I’m sure it’ll be world-wide.

The game looks great, of course, but is SEGA really interested at all in taking it to console? If they don’t, all this game is to the player base in America is a change in what version they’ll be watching, not playing.
Same here, working on my lion. And no one is ever on in Ranked matches.
Ranked match has been dead for awhile now, it’s mostly droppers and weaker players that play in there. The only place you’ll find decent players is in player match.
Fuck Pron. This game is the real good stuff.
