Online is a cheap alternative.
Leaderboards are plagued with cheats and people who’ll duck you for being good.
People who care about it don’t know any better.

Don’t know if anyone saw this so…
Nice find. This isn’t even on the Sega website. o.0
Frontpage SRK material.
Everyone on SRK knows who Fuudo is thanks to Evo 2011.
There 2d god has spoken
There’s a Submit Tip on the front page. My pc is being dumb and not letting me access it though…

This link has more views than the one Shiny posted but credit should still go to him if anyone sends it in. I’ll try tomorrow.
This community is wierd… I dont wanna be apart of it.
sees Fuudo interview
Nvm
Like I said, the cheats tend to rise up to the top due to cheating. The beginner-intermediates can enjoy fair noob games against each other, and enjoy their progress at the middle of the ladder. As a casual player, that’s fine for me. If I wanted to get serious competition I’d go get destroyed at an offline tournament.
Let me just say I’m enjoying all the new players. This gives me a good feeling about FS.
Hope a nice chunk of them stick with it.
Don’t know if any of you read the front page news about Fuudo and Itabashi getting picked up by Razer for sponsorship? I remember Fuudo saying he doesn’t want a sponsorship unless special requirements were met. I am guessing Itabashi was the special requirement…
Hell they are so close I mean Itabashi did cry for Fuudo after all. VF players are manly men, we ain’t scared of tears.
noobie question - in command training - what does it mean when it wants you to do a move “(during offensive move)”. Picked up the game without a manual and kinda learning on the fly. thx
Offensive move I believe is when you press UP/DOWN & A+P+K where they go the big side step. Basically press those 3 when doing an evade and the noise it makes should tell you when you’ve done it. And then press whatever command they want after that.
Up or Down + G+P+K then either punch or kick.
Don’t have to worry about it too much since, the OM attacks won’t be in Final Showdown, but OM itself as a positioning tool is.
Front page also shows me just how much people know about the top players in general. Everyone thinks Fuudo and Itabashi are just SF players, but they started in VF and are top 5 players in those games. Shit, Itabashi is a top player in tons of games, he’d win as many games as Tokido if he actually bothered to learn cheap characters lol

Itabashi’s Shun was pure art, at least to me.
It is heart breaking how little people know about VF and its player base. I am optimistic about FS just because it is a downloadable title and I know people who download games on a whim. At first I wasn’t satisfied with Sega’s advertising but the recent player trailers, tournament showings and the 1v1 I think we have a good shot. If the netcode is at least SF4 level the young sprats will accept it. The only thing that bothers me is not being able to see other characters items if you haven’t bought it. People say VF looks boring but that is not true, especially with the crazy items in FS. Damn I hate these download limits Microsoft has set.
I couldn’t tell that was Kage from the thumbnail lol. Really good Geese howard.
VF5 being streamed right now form Portland!
Those are awesome edits. I hope there’s a good number of customization items included with the game. I must have Lei Fei’s bomb-ass business suit.

EDIT: By the way, there are now apps for the entire cast (excluding Dural): https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=ksbyks
Also, FS is going to be at Shadowloo Showdown. Can’t wait to see how Myke and the other Australian players fare at the game! Fuudo and Itazan will also be there.
