Do any of you attend a community college in Northern or Southern Virginia? I started an arcade club at my college, and I’m working on plans to start a college system-wide fighting game tournament in conjunction with other videogame related clubs.

I usually show up there on the Fridays and Saturday nights when me and my friends feel like walking around the boardwalk. My friends don’t play Marvel but it’s the only place in the VA Beach that has a MvC2 machine. I usually play Strider/Doom or some Tron based team.

Whats up VA. I’m not from SoVA but you guys are still probably the closest comp to me. I’m down on the Outer Banks of NC. I’m trying to get in on the action here seeing as the closest place for me to play people who block is Norfolk/VA Beach area. Where do you play? I go to norfolk about once a week and I’m trying to get some games in. Hit me up if you want to play or next time you are all getting together, or if you come down to the beach. I have a MvC2 cabinet and some other shit. Whats the deal?
I think I’ll go to Flipper McCoy’s Saturday evening around 6 or so just to see what it’s usually like. If anyone wants to get some games in, feel free to show up.
So I went to Flipper’s on Saturday. No one was there, which didn’t really come as a shock. But I’m still glad I went. I hadn’t played in over a year, and it gave me a chance to work the rust off. I’d say my execution’s pretty much where it was the last time I was playing seriously. In other news, my new job is up at Military Circle, so whenever I go up there, I get all depressed when I see them building a Hardee’s where the Putt Putt used to be. Damn, I miss that place.
So does anybody here play any SF games besides 3S?

Does anyone know if theres a GGXX:AC cabinet at Flipper McCoys?And another thing, Do any of you guys need a roommate in the Norfolk or Virginia Beach area?
I should be at Hatteras as some point this summer, are you anywhere near there? I don’t play MvC2 but I play 3s and GG, so if you are interested/it’s possible let me know.
Yeah Hatteras is in my county but its about 30 minutes to an hour away. Hatteras the town or the area, because most people refer to everything after the bridge as Hatteras. There are two arcades south of the bridge, on in Buxton and one in Roadanthe. Both suck, no fighting games so don’t bother even going. I can play 3S though, just PM me when your on your way we’ll get some games in.
