I’ll have both versions, still waiting on my 360 stick to come in the mail though.
NC tournament was alright. LOTS of casual play; the only real tournaments run were SF4 singles + teams and 3rd strike. Up to 3 BlazBlue setups going at one time, but I didn’t try it out.
After-party was bitchin though - we went to a friend’s place who had arcade cabinets with CvS2, VS2, and an SNK cab with Garou/SamSho5/MetalSlug/Strikers. VS2 was real fun, the joysticks were smooth and amazing. And then we fucked around with some terrible Genesis fighting games and some other Sega classics (Zombie Ate My Neighbors and Guardian Heroes). You guys need to come with us; definitely need to do that again sometime.
I’ll be out of town for awhile, won’t be back until maybe the 20th of July. I’ll try to get on 2df though if I can get my laptop fixed.
I preordered Blazblue from GS a while ago. 2 day shipping will kill me…
Yeah post-tourney stuff was mad fun. I might take money matches in Eternal Fighter next time. VS2 was hype.
I’m good for games whenever. I’m not sure when exactly I’ll have Blazblue, hopefully no more than a week.

Well it looks like Thursday is going to be good for me,sometime around 6pm maybe, and I think Shane can come over as well. I should have Blazblue tomorrow, got that creepy call from gamestop today. They should have hired someone less chipper and less robotic sounding to call me about my pre-order.

Just got back from gamestop with Blazblue, i think i like it. I don’t understand what’s going on in the game, but it’s pretty fun so far, and looks really nice. I’m liking the cat girl and Bang. I just took a serious ass kicking online, 10 minutes after I opened the damn game, thanks VA_king. And yeah, Thursday around 6 or so I’m free for games for the rest of the night, so Everett, if you want to, feel free to come by.

Ok, I’ve had fun so far. Rachel is kind of difficult. One thing about it though, I am already sick of seeing people on XBL picking Jin, Noel, or Ragna. It’s like 3 SF4 Kens :razzy: I figure most of them will be playing v-13 soon.

I didn’t have much time to play yesterday I only had time to run through arcade mode with Noel. I like the game so far it feels just like guilty gear except without dusts and FRCs.
Anyone want to play against a jin player this morning? (me). Jin is pretty standard as fighting games go but I just can’t get use to other characters yet. Bang was giving me a lot of trouble because It was hard to get in and I don’t understand the timing for some of his combos after downing an opponent with j.D.
Plus, Jin’s ice are like webs to me. So its like coming back home haha.
I’m going to try and figure out the guy from spirited away tonight if I have time. Really I should just choose somebody that has a really high priority jump c and just spam that. That’s all I did with may and it seemed to work pretty well.
