I might try learning stick earlier than I thought.
As I’ve already told Jaton, my SF4 pad is honestly not much better than the 360 pad. It misses the point entirely. Repositions the buttons, but that’s not the main issue. The dpad is still a fat ass circle :bluu:

Classic Controller for the Wii is pretty much the only pad I can even touch anymore. DS2 is alright, too.

Classic controller is good too but only fighting game I’ve played on it is TvC. At one point it started making me do random bursts, but that might have been an issue with the wiimote.

Speaking of, when you coming to richmond? Summer would be awesome for me and everyone else. We are getting players like crazy in richmond now. Moose is back in the scene and robin is down here often now it seems. Also, a lot of older players are re-emerging. I know we are having mad gatherings that keep on popping up and a tourny in may. Everett i’ve been playing the shit out of rog he’s so fun. dial a damage man. He just loves to eat people up. Except my rog vs gief is such a pain, i can play gief, just not against him.
I still can’t decide what the fuck character I want to use. I like using Cammy, but she’s terrible. I get my ass kicked using her enough in SSF2T, anyway. I tried Sagat, but it’s boring, and none of my friends want to fight Sagat all day (who would?). Sagat seems easy as hell to learn… all I’d need to do is stop being aggressive, and try not to get bored and do something stupid.
Yeah, sagat is sf4’s ultimate punish character. You just wait till the other person fucks up, or attack when the person is afraid to do anything.
With cammy, it’s a lot of precise execution like barely up off the ground air drills/spike. FA back dashes as baits and what not.

And Sagat actually isn’t a boring character, it’s just the way he’s played in tourneys is boring. But I’d say the same for every character in sf4; ‘high level’ sf4 play is soooo boring. MORE HATE!!!

I’m sort of bitter to SF4 too. First because of the pathetic GG tournament, but that couldn’t be helped I guess, with SF4 being new to C3 and all. But then they go and have SF4 ONLY at the next C3… :mad:
and the late starting time excuse is BS, imo. They practically started that late last time.
but as for when/if we all enter another team tourny for it, I will either need to have learned stick by then or hope we play on PS3 ver. And learn Fei’s links (so I can get reversal’d when I mess them up )
