It’s not close though, 3.5-4 hours from Roanoke/Blacksburg. The upshot is that my house is about 5 minutes away from the place, so I can beat people in ST later on.

Hell, I’d be all for it if we got some carpool action going. However, I’ll be done for the semester by then and be back in my hometown in WV for the summer, so I’m not sure I can make it out for that.
That’s quite a bit of driving to and fro. I’d say it’d be easier on us if we had a place to crash for the night.

Bah, bummer. If you guys needed to crash, there’s a couple of couches and floor space at my place. But I think they’re going to be having these regularly, so if you can’t make it for this one, you’ll have to try for another one.

Wow this thread has come to life in the past few weeks. I’ve been playing really random stuff lately GGXX (yes XX not #R), 3S (I’ve been messing around with Akuma) but I’ve mostly been playing SF2AE. I’ve been working on turbo blanka, n.ken and other random characters. Last week at dave and busters I had a pretty good streak with blanka in SF2T. Did you know that bison’s psyco crusher can randomly cross up? I thought they took that crap out after champion edition, oh well. It costs $.75 to play that 10 year old game there… but at least they have it. My copy of slash hasn’t come in the mail yet, it shipped monday so it should be here pretty soon, when I get it that’s all I’m going to play.
I can probably make it to that tournament, my last exam is on the 9th or somewhere around there.
Yeah people are actually playing lol, we just got finished playing mostly 3s and ggxx (no xb converters). But damn, gg is too much fun… now I really want slash lol. But whens the next time you’l be in roanoke?

Well I need to stay here at least through the 9th of may. If people are going to that tournament I’ll hang around for it. Also my gf said something about visiting me here when she gets back from the beach, I forget exactly when she gets back, early to mid mayish. So I’ll be back mid may. I’ll be working full time again so I can do evening and weekend games.

Anyone planning on getting KoF Neowave? I know there was some interest around here when NGBC came out, and some of you claim to be practicing KoF, and IT’S A DOMESTIC RELEASE(!), so is anyone planning on playing this? It seems like it’s kinda hard to get it in stores, so I’ve ordered my copy online. Anyone trying to throw down on it?
i didn’t play it and the guy that was helping me with kof 2k2 online said he didn’t like it too much so i never really kept up with the game.
