as far as those evil zone vids go, the gameplay confuses me, unless there are gameplay changes between jap/engrish keiya’s alternate pentacle gives him a free gem so i found it odd that it wasnt used, i was also confused at the random gems being thrown out since gems are pretty easily taken care of
also, i fiend for a copy of blood fighter now after seeing that action
I call a fighter based on 2 strat RPG’s a bit obscure.
Although a bit obscure, i’m looking forward to it since i’m a GoC fan, that and it reminds me of guilty gear. I believe it has a small following in Japan too.
Btw, while we’re on topic, does anyone have any videos of Saint Seiya Chapter Sanctuary? I hear it blows but I’d really like to see it in action.
There used to be a video of me playing Alex Navarro in Street Fighter 1 floating around on the net. I’ll have to see if I can find someone who has it and upload it on google video or something.
Outside of that I used to have around an hours worth of Pretty Fighter casual match footage on VHS. That game was so stupid, in one match I girl did a lunge butt attack, the game froze for 10 seconds and then unfroze and the opponent lost 100% health.
If I still have the VHS I’ll see if I can find that as well and upload it.
If were talking about Chaos Breaker, I’d say that’s an obscure game, since now the game seems to be pretty much died. If we’re talking about SvG, I’d say it’s pretty obscure, but probably not know since it’s getting the PS2 treatment.
This thread is more really for match videos, since Maj’s thread is where the combo videos go. Since you asked though, here’s a combo video for Saint Seiya: http://e-d-p.jp/
Scroll down the frame look and for the link: ps2seiya02.avi
Never bothered to upload due to the fact that… well… no one really plays it here.
Me and my friends used to, almost took it to a serious level, but soon stopped.
In those vids they lack in there grab game. Man, side step can easily get you grabbed in that red circle shit once you move it. And the fact they did it alot, its very punishable.
And those charged regular moves were so random.
Doing them so close its very punishable too, don’t know what they were thinking.
Man… this topic brings back bad memories.
OMFG, back in the day when games like MK came out there were tons of random fuckin’ bloody ass games. I believe Blood Warrior was one of them, I’m not sure but I can recall all these bullshit games hitting computer that were just trying so hard to be gorish and bloody.
I remember some retarded fighting game when one of there finishing specials was to hit your opponent into the air, thru the sky, then all of a sudden the opponent is in a court room being judge for no fuckin’ reason. About a 3 seconds of watching him just standing there in front of the judge, he falls to his knees and starts screaming as his head explodes and all this blood comes out.
Even when I was a kid, I could not help but think “wow… that was fuckin’ retarded”
Finally, someone to make sense of those videos (Evil Zone). So that charging, what exactly is it for? Meter usage? And what exactly initiates those long button sequences?
Charging gives up red orbs (you can only have a max of 3). They allow you to do supers or have your regual moved to be charged up for a more powerful version.
The game is quiet simple, and does not take much to learn seeing as how most shit is like back back attack and forward forward attack, etc.
I think to do your super, you need at least one red orb. Do BB+Attack and an orb will come out (its slow and rather impossible to link unless they are stunned).
I just want to see some Slam Masters II footage there were some suprisingly technical elements to that game and yet Ive still never seen ANY match footage or combo videos etc online
