It’s always some retard just sitting in his yard with his car stereo (amplified and suped-up for the express purpose of annoying neighbors) cranked all the way up…instead of just going inside, closing the door and enjoying his crap in privacy. I can understand why he took a gun, its a party with a bunch of drunk people there’s the chance that someone might fuck him up. You can present the argument that he should have just stayed at home but to an extent this is the problem with society nowadays too many people sit on their ass in fear.
What I don’t condone is his him taking the gun out, it didn’t seem as though he believed his life was in danger it seemed as though he was trying to take control of the situation to get the desired result. His gun should not have been used for the purpose of pressuring people into going through with his initial request.

But anyway, this guy was definitely NOT in danger. When I was watching the video and hearing him say “I’m in danger”, in my head I was like, “Where’s the fire? Where’s the emergency?” You tell them once to tone it down, they don’t listen. Tell them another time and they still don’t listen. You warn them one more time and they still don’t do anything? Then call the cops, be patient till they arrive, and let them handle the situation. The gun was completely unnecessary and, in fact, added to the noise he was trying to dissolve.
Agree and disagree. In high school I lost count how many local shows I went to or performed at that got shut down early because of noise complaints. Of course the one time I needed the cops after being assualted…took them 45 minutes.

The modern day equivalent of King George, is obviously the government, and its enforcement agencies. Every man and woman should have the right to defend himself from any threat, and not give up such an important right to an institution which does not have to answer to anybody. I would rather take the chance that I could get shot from a stranger who has legally acquired a firearm over some trivial crap, than give up the right to defend myself. I value personal freedom that much more over personal or public safety. But at the same time, I also value fair firearm regulation because its simply irresponsible to hand them out like saltine crackers. As much as I value personal freedom, i also value common sense and rational thinking provided it doesn’t nanny or create a draconian state run by paranoia or fear
for example, I really like California’s system of checking who is purchasing firearms, their laws as to who can and cannot have firearms, and I like that its hard to get a concealed firearm permit. but I really despise the draconian laws they have over what you can and cannot own, and what is allowed to be owned is dictated by very draconian and ineffective policy. As opposed to Texas, I don’t like their lax laws concerning who can and cannot own a firearm, the accessibility of carrying a firearm in public. But I really enjoy their lax stance on what you can and cannot own.
