There is a turbo detector for GGPO. People mention it in the ST channel all of the time. Log into the ST room and ask around or dig through the GGPO threads in the online sub-forum on SRK.
seshurmaru on GGPO told me that he caught him using turbo on there too with a input watcher.
LOL. Just goes to show how much of a crutch turbo becomes for some people, especially if they are stupid/desperate enough to use it in a game where input display is available to everyone.

Guys, I hate to bust everyone’s bubble on such accusations but have you seen the inputs of when Diago plays? You might be intrigued when you see all the plinking(spelling) that he does. Also Lyghts plays with Sagat. I find it really hard that turbo would benefit Sagat. He is all about zoning with tiger shots and tiger uppercuts. It is not not like he is using Chun Li, Honda, Blanka, Cammy. And yes I know tick throwing could be advantageous with turbo but again, playing with Sagat that is somewhat a mute point.
Anyways these topics need to stop on the forums. I understand it comes with the game due to the nature of on-line but it’s just that it is on-line people. With all the controllers that come equipped with turbo and macro functions you have to understand there are those who will use it.
Fortunately though, EVO and any other reputable tournaments do not allow these so you should really only take those players who attend such events seriously. With any one else just accept it and hope for the best.
Calling people out and etc. is for the birds. And if you truly feel a certain way toward a player then dont play them. Simple as that. And lastly there is a thread for bg if you feel it was. This is not the correct forum for that.

Turbo is Turbo! Also clearly you dont play sf4 cause he didnt plink once in that match lol how do you explain one jab that = to 8 inputs? I know I press many inputs to help buffer the ticks and throwing. Which again is what many of the great players do in the game. Look at Sabin in how he rarely gets thrown. If you were to see his input display you would see many inputs being inputted. Dont play dumb to this. And how did you get that I said it was okay to use turbo? Seriously learn how to read. Most cars clearly can go over that. Does that mean though you should go over 75 because your car can. No… but guess what people do. Fortunately though many of us obey laws and know what is acceptable and do not go over that. Hopefully you are still with me, many controllers/joysticks have turbo capability. But in many reputable events EVO or tournies held in various locations do not honor people using turbo. Now many people will not go to EVO or any other tournies but they follow those rules that are administered at such events. Here is another analogy for you in case that was too deep. I dont play in the NBA, I didnt even play college basketball but even playing pickup games or organized ball witht the YMCA I know that carrying, traveling is wrong.
And the last time I checked turbo will be more beneficial for a character that requires immediate presses as opposed to inputting a motion and hoping you timed it right for your button press. I guess many of us piano our inputs so I dont feel it is that big of a deal. And timing is so crucial with sagat in regards to his dp. If you played him you might know that. And obviously you havent been on these boards because I have been playing Sagat for quite some time. Check the threads. You only come to these boards to troll and post wasteless topics.

I understand ProdThaGreat has his personal history with Lyghts Out and the he wants to publically prove that Lyghts Out has the capasity to cheat… OK, read your post, watched the video, got it. Lyghts Out uses turbo’s in SSF4.
However, I really feel that there is no reason to bring this into the HDR forum. - Interest HDR is drastically slowing down, it needs as much positive support as possible. The longer this type of thread is far more detrimental than beneficial to those interested in the scene.
