Video Game Music Thread Ver. Once More With FEELING!

Toki freaking Christ, exactly what the hell kind of epicness just transpired here.

Simply too much data to absorb at once. It’s like trying to detect a new star, only to find a neutron star, becoming one with its awesome gravity, against your will

:cybot:

falls over twitching (that is one huge list) THANKS!

Reps Reggie until rep system breaks

So I went back to checking for more Kraid’s Theme music and came across . Fuckin’ woooooooooooooow.

Hes in the same league as this guy.

Damn reggie is beastin, gonna have to check out that golden axe and fire emblem.

Just downloaded an entire FE album, then I realized it was the same one off another site I got it from :wasted:

Urgh, time for some golden axe :stuck_out_tongue:

Heh, I didn’t expect this many replies from all that so soon.

I added ShadeMusicStudios link to the front page. Man is a BEAST on the piano.

I shared most of this stuff over at the Shizz forums and at the kind request of a poster that works for Sega/Wave Master, I took down some of the newer Wave Master albums over there. So if anyone wants the Shinobi Music Collection, Daytona USA and NIGHTS albums hit me with a PM.

Metroid Metal’s Varia Suite CD came out if you want to listen to the redone tracks then go here

I’m hoping my copy comes in the mail soon

I wanted to share a few handheld items. I uploaded some theme to Youtube, but in WMM the filesize is half what it originally was after publishing. Still sounds decent though.

Game Boy’s Street Fighter 2 had impressive music, it was the first thing I noticed when I played the game in 94 lol.

Neo Geo Pocket Color had some awesome games, and those games had catchy music.

True story I recorded the music from Gal’s Fighter’s, SVCMoTM, and Sonic Pocket about 10 years ago, using a rigged headphone jack into a reciever onto a tape. After a while, when I got a PC, I hooked a radio to the input jack on the PC, and recorded that tape(s) onto the PC, and my NGPC music are directly from tape/system.

I had never found an NGPC emulator that sounds like the actual music from the games. The music all runs slow, and low pitched, like how a PAL NES, Genesis, or SNES sounds compared to a NTSC version.

Here a theme from Gal’s Fighter(cant remember it’s been too long)

Tekken Advance. This game seriously has CD quality music. I think because of limited voices they fit better music in. Law, Heihachi(Ogre T3 msuic), and Yoshi have rips from T3, and some of the new themes are just as good of quality.

Jin Kazama theme

I have more tracks from each of these games. Depends on comment/interest.

King of Fighters XII finally ripped. (Originally Found Here. http://forums.ffshrine.org/showpost.php?p=1323979&postcount=1)

The site also has the Batman Arkham Asylum and a few RPGs

Sorry if it’s already been mentioned, but Wild Guns is pretty sick

I also recommend The Ninja Warriors Again (SNES/SFC) and Shatterhand/Tokkyuu Shirei Solbrain (NES/FC).

 Been waiting for that.

Anyone heard the Dark Cloud 2 OST’s? Wish most MMORPG has this kind of musical approach.

Tekken Advance Hworang and Xiaoyu theme:

Anyone know how to get WMM to publish to computer? Keeps getting an error. I always have to publish it as an email attachment, then save a copy to computer. I think that it’s reducing the quality alot comapred to straight publishing to PC.

I searched but got people with the same problem, and no good answers.

Whoa, didn’t know Tekken Advance had mad beats. Too bad Namco never releases OSTs of the GBA games. The Klonoa titles on the GBA had superb music.

BTW, guys, the following links are now on the front page:

Great tunes from one of my favorite games growing up.

Donkey Kong Live Orchestra, if though they performed the Brawl version of brambles, I am impressed.

Edit: if anyone want’s a Basic rip of Game Boy, Possibly Gameboy Advance, or NES Soundtrack, feel free to ask.

I was actually wondering if you could do a rip of Mario vs. Airman. It only has a few tracks but I’m sure people would love to have the 8-bit version of “I Can’t Beat Airman.” I can PM you what you’d need.

Everyone knows OOT has on one of the best soundtracks ever. Twilight Princess gives it a run for its money. My favorite track is the one that plays when you free the gaurdians (not the fairy that gives you fairy tears, but the ones that look like animals) of the fairy fountain. If you sit and listen, it gives you a feeling close to awe. It’s weird.

Also, MGS4 Theme of Love is amazing. I can play it on Violin.

And we can’t forget Shadow of the Collossus. Simply epic.

Yeah, sure. I’ll give it a shot. Requesting PM.
