Video Game Music Thread Ver. Once More With FEELING!

That MM7 Track is seriously one of my favorite things from Capcom.

Iā€™ve gotten so many STs Iā€™d never heard of from 'hax-guy that Iā€™ve lost count! His site is where I first heard of the Thunderforce VI OST.

No problem on those Remixes. Weā€™ve all got good taste here, because we all seem to be on the same page. We know ā€œinstant classicā€ when we hear it. :wgrin: On the Ring Man Remix, my fav part is EASILY when the music hits 01:12.

Hereā€™s the Spark Man remix

I forget whether or not itā€™s mega man 8 or 7 but iirc, i think itā€™s 8 and HIGHLY recommend it if anyone hasnā€™t dlā€™ed it.

More random stuff:

Sand Ocean arranged version (F-Zero - SNES)

Dungeon (Wonder Boy 3: the Dragonā€™s Trap - SMS)

Castlevania 3 medley by the Minibosses

TEMPotato (Ragnarok Online - PC)

Play It Again (Hotel Dusk - NDS)

P.N.K.N. - Khan Super Session (Soul Blade - PS1)

Unused Dr. Light capsule theme (Mega Man X5 - PS1)

Time Man stage (Mega Man Powered Up - PSP)

World map (both dimensions) (Dragon Quest 6 - SNES)

Yggdrasil (Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria - PS2)

Anyone have the Boss Music from streets of rage 1?

This is from Streets of Rage Remake for PC:

thanks yo

That Spark Man remix is top tier.

Mega Man 2 has awesome music and their have been dope arranged, remixed version of MM2ā€™s music, but I think too many seem to believe that the entire greatness of MM music begins and ends with MM2. The entire series, Classic, X, Zero, has awesome music. It really is nice to see MM themes that arenā€™t from MM2 get some lovinā€™.

Oh, I love the Dr. Wily Stage 1 track from MM7. Actually, all the Wily stages in MM7 have sweet music.

I started lisenting to the Japanese version of the tunes in Sonic CD (Thanks, Shadowhaxor). Told myself Iā€™d do it today when I got home from work. For years, I wondered why all the fans continued to whine about not having the Japanese tracks. I have to say Iā€™m impressed. The Japanese tracks of Sonic CD are solid. Really good, memorable. Stuff. Do I like it better than the USA Sonic CD tracks? Donā€™t really know. I mean, the USA Sonic CD songs are sweet. Sonic Boom, anyone?

Shadowhaxor, mushc thanks for the Tempest 2000 soundtrack. :wgrin:

Someone wanted Trauma Center: Second Opinion. I got a buddy doing a rip of that for me, should have it soon.

Doneā€¦ its on the site.

Quick Man Arranged

Oh that is beautiful. Is there a whole album of these?

Anyone got any game soundtracks to recommend? Iā€™ll bite on just about anything. Iā€™d post all the MIDIs and OSTs I have but thatā€™d take a while.

I donā€™t know where I got all of those tracks from. As soon as I find something solid, I will let you know.

Look for the title Kunoichi. Thatā€™s the japanese title. The OST was never released, so thereā€™s only a gamerip.

Thanks for the recommendations, FighterX. KOF has always had sweet music. Which, reminds me, I need to get the OSTs to all those games.

Anyone know where you can game rips or OSTs to these games?

-Front Mission 3
-Kirby Super Star
-Mega Man X4

I know many of us dispise Mega Man X6 (myself included), One area I think the game shinned in was the music. I loved Metal Shark Playerā€™s theme and a lot of other tunes were good, but I canā€™t think of their names.

Oh and anyone that likes Gradius games/music, do check out the Gradius Perfect Selections I and II. Both have excellent remixed/arraneged music from the Gradius series. Both can be found at Shadowā€™s site.

Iā€™m pretty sure that served as hella inspiration for Kenā€™s 3s theme.

-And where can I get the OST to the first (?) Batman game for NES. It was called just Batman, I believe. I think Joker was in it but it wasnā€™t called Return of the Joker (since ā€œReturnā€ implies a second outing). Iā€™ve heard MIDI files, and will settle, but Iā€™d prefer mp3ā€™s or something.

More Ace Combat stuff. Probably post more later.

Knock You Down
White Bird (part II)
Hrimfaxi
Desert Arrow
