Great track. OC Remix has a cool remix called “Live at the Spring Yard.” Go check it out.
Some of the comments on YouTube are funny. One of the posters said this track reminded him of Straight Up by Paula Abdul…you know what, he’s right.
Thanks for the link. Whenever, I heard her theme I always felt like hitting the streets and yelling “Mortal Kombat”. Never knew it was called “Diet”, though. Kinda makes sense with her AOF2 stage…
Downloading…
Yeah, it definitely has that late 80’s/early 90’s vibe to it. Try Bobby Brown’s “Every Little Step”:

Creepy.
You must be seeing things…I didn’t see any Carlton. Nope.
This group called stemage reinterpreted tracks from Metroid, Metroid 2, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 3 into Metal. If you haven’t listened or heard this stuff before then I HIGHLY recommend it. This has so much :rock::rock::rock::rock::rock::rock: it doesn’t make any sense.
Personal favorites:
Metroid: Brinstar, Kraid’s Theme, Tourian/Mother Brain
Super Metroid: Everything they did
Metroid Prime: Space Pirates (love what they did with this), Title/Menu Theme
Metroid Prime 3: Theme/Bryyo (Up there with Space Pirates for me)
Also they tend to continually update with new tracks every so often but it’s random…but I tend to visit the page every so often to make sure if anything came out so if something does show up I’ll post it if there is interest.
I was just on some randomness on YouTube and came across one of my favorite video game songs . I might have to run and snatch this up somehow.
Another Famicom game that never came out in the states. Excellent music. I get a bit of a Kirby vibe when I hear these tunes.
Oh if anyone knows where I could get mp3s of the NES version of Double Dragon II, much appreciated. I’ve checked but haven’t been able to come up with anything.
From Bad Dudes, this album contains nothing but Sagat remixes, and dang, are they sexy! Includes Sagat’s Moonbike, and Sly Thai Guy! Simply amazing stuff!
I’m playing through Super Metroid now and comparing the original source with their interpretation and I can’t help but be blown away with what they did when I listen to the Super Metroid tracks they did over again.
