I never really played much of Goemon’s games…maybe they’ll release this title on virtual console?
hopefully?
i know its unlikely but im hoping for the Legend of the Mystical Ninja (snes) to arrive on xbox live, virtual console is highly likely though
goemon games have great humour, fun gameplay and the soundtrack has always been good, the original snes mystical ninja has a better quality soundtrack than a lot of snes games out there, they must of put a lot of money towards it
lol The whole song is even more ridiculous…awesome! They must have been trippin in the sound booth when it came time to sing this.
The whole MM9 soundtrack is up on YouTube. No DL links though.
An excellent 8-bit version of Bramble Blast (Sticker Bush Symphony) from Donkey Kong Country 2. The DL to the mp3 is in the vid description.

Oh No You Didn’t is made of win.
Speaking of win, get the first 21 songs from Mega Man 9 ripped in high quality mp3. Franky on YouTube hooked us up.

Thanks for those songs! TMNT on SNES had some sick themes too.
Shredder (the best theme, IMHO)
Aska
Rat King
Chrome Dome
Also, don’t forget that “Rage of the Dragons” had some great tracks as well.
Jones/Kang theme

The characters that appeared in Power Instinct Matrimelee got remixed themes from Rage of the Dragons.

Love this game, and this is one of the more evocative themes for battle.
Totally, absolutely agree with you there. Those tracks are awesome, specially Shredder’s.
For everyone, hidden SNES gem recommendation: Arcana (Cardmaster in Japan) has spectacular music, you should give it a chance, as SNES music in .spc format takes nothing to download and it’s just like hearing the thing straight out from your console.
Suggested tracks:
- Prologue to the Tale
- Crowded Marketplace
- Draven’s Valley Pass
- Decisive Battle
- The combo The Goddess/Birth of a Hero/Second Armageddon, specially this last one, which are of the classic final battle (Hero finishes last enemy first form, second form crushes the hero, hero resurrects with newfound power, final epic battle).
Also, I’ll repeat the question I did before, and no one fully answered; I’ll probably will die without knowing the truth: There’s a sampled vocal line that has appeared in a number of videogames which aren’t at all related, the line goes by something by “Causing much mayhem, dropping drama, radical rebel with the need to bomb ya)”. The games where I’ve heard this are:
1.- Bust-a-Groove (Pinky Stage)
2.- DDR (Put Your Faith in Me)
3.- Capcom Fighting Evolution (At ease!, New York Stage)
and also, SpaceLion told me that it also was in:
4.- Tomboy [huge side] - Street Fighter III New Generation Original Arrange Album
5.- Junk! Junk! Junk! - Moonlit Shadow (probably the most extensive usage here)
I’d really, really like to know the source of this song and why it’s used in so many different games.
Thanks!
ROTD has that fire music. I just had to big up . My favorite music from the whole game. And PIM has some great music. Real eclectic mix of genres all through that game. And what the songs are about are just crazy as hell.

There’s another site that’s like Galbadia, called KH Insider. I don’t have the URL handy right now, but try doing a search for the name.
did I miss something? I pulled up Galbadia…it’s still there.
