So a YouTuber has given a few Super Mario 3D World Themes the 8-bit treatment.
Oh and the same person also did a theme that goes with everything in glorious 8-bits.

Saw the Cynthia theme in 8 bit. Confused it with her intro theme, got disappointed. I will applaud someone who can finally do something with this piece.
Does anyone have a working link to the Tenchi wo Kurau II soundtrack or could upload it? The link in this thread is dead.
About as metal as Sonic can get
Trying to get back into Xenoblade to finish it up. Just got to Mechonis and I gotta say Iām digging the track that plays.
Xenoblade Chronicles - Mechonis Field
Takes a moment to get started up but starts kicking up around 1:25. Particularly fond of the section that starts at 1:50. Itās just generally chill.
RCT Album. Short for Rockman Chip Tune. Not to be confused with the Chiptuned Rockman album that released in 2009. This album was only obtainable at a 2013 Rockman event. Anyway, itās 20 tracks of chiptuned Rockman music, but if youāre thinking strictly NES, this baby even uses some Genesis instruments. The jazzy arrangement of Mega Man 3ās Title theme is easily one of the best remixes of the theme Iāve ever heard. Check it out if you love Mega Man and chiptunes. You will not be disappointed.
Instead of everyone posting up shit they like is there any way to compile lists or separate based on genre? this thread is great, but it would be nice if it were somehow more organized.
Just found out Daisuke did the Hard Corps: Uprising OST a few days ago, and these are my two favorite tracks. Figures itās already been posted here.
Did he ever do a soundtrack for any game besides Uprising, GG, and BB?
So damn classic.
a simple remix of the costa del sol theme from ff7
Symphony of the Night had such a great soundtrackā¦
Iām assuming that for the most part Sonic Riders gets mostly negative reception (I personally love the game), but the soundtrack is amazing.
The soundtrack for this game is easily the most impressive genesis music ever imo.
Loved this when i was a kid btw !
So FFShrine is back and guess whatās finally out? http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/[320kbps]-super-mario-3d-world-original-soundtrack-167379/
Beautiful
OCR launched a OverClocked Records which is a place where you can buy original work and VG OSTS from artists. 80% of the proceeds go to the artist while a portion goes to OCR to help maintain the site.
http://overclockedrecords.com/
among the people on there are Big Giant Circles, HalC, Beatdrop and I see the OST for Dust: An Elysian Tail on there
OC also launched the Apex 2014 album this past week

Which contains a 3 part rap track by Overclocked Assembled where they mimic some mainstream rap artists styles while posing as characters from Smash. Itās interesting.
Ys III: Wanderers from Ys āThe Freak Winged Boyā by Dr. Manhattan
Source is āThe Boyās Got His Wingsā. Iāve never played a Ys game so I was unfamiliar with the source but that didnāt stop me from enjoying Dr. Manhattanās rocking version of this. Funny thing is as I was searching for the source I came across the version thatās in Oath in Felghana and ended up liking that one more than the source that Manhattan based his off of which Iām sure isnāt fairā¦but that violin man. In anycase the source is easily heard and recognizable and it carries plenty of energy.
Did this one last night. If youāve been following my previous ones youāll know iāve been doing this forawhile so i have decided to take requests.
Whatever VGM track it is you want to hear a remix of just let me know , iāll be happy to make a remix and iāll give you a shoutout on the video itself awell. I have a very one-sided style which often sounds like electronica/techno/trance though , so keep that in mind. piz!
Since coming from Magfest Iām still trying to sort through some of the CDās I picked up and currently Iām really digging DJ Cutman and Spamtronās Tribute album to Linkās Awakening. The album is for the most part very beat heavy with chiptune so if youāre into that Iād try giving it a listen. If I had to pick 3 tracks out of the 7 to be the most stand outā¦:
The Woods

Dungeons

Sword Search

I also never got around to posting up my personal standouts for OCRās FFVI albumā¦something Iāll probably rectify tomorrow. That album was huge. One of my favorite tracks off that album easily is
āCourage, Failure, Rosebudā by Dragon Avenger, OA
Source is āUnder Martial Lawā.
From Resident Evil: Code Veronica. I actually quite like this game. Sort of feels like it was slightly underrated.
