Street Fighter II: The World Warrior 'Frets of Fury’

Source is[media=youtube]hWFJDAKXgW4"] ‘Opening Demo’. Talk about a blast from the past…I haven’t heard this theme in a long ass time lol. Instant memories of a dude getting owned before even putting in a quarter rush in. Wait where was I? Oh yeah…This mix is pretty awesome and full of :rock::rock::rock:. Apparently the guy who did this is actually in the gaming industry and goes by the name of VertexGuy. Looking at the picture of him from his [URL=“http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vertexguy”[/media] and from the information on the page I actually think I remember seeing this guy on stage when I went to the Video Games Live concert. He was like off to the side though but I definitely remember someone looking like him during the Halo 2 bits.

It’s also interesting that this guy has sent something to OC before and they rejected it. Not that that’s really a bad thing though since it sounds like OC is actually sticking to it’s guns even if someone famous wants to post up a mix. Makes me wonder who else have they rejected mixes from.

So the new Metroid Metal track is done but it’s not out yet. The reason it’s taken so long is because Stemage was actually working on the soundtrack for a game coming out on Xbox Live this summer called Alpha Squad. I hadn’t actually heard of this game until now but he has a preview of some of the soundtrack here if people are interested in listening.

Metroid Prime ‘Samus’ Lonesome Waltz’

I really liked this when I first heard it awhile back and I don’t know why it took me so long to post it up might have been me getting caught up in Monster Hunter 3 and SSFIV. Love the way how it opens up with the soft almost Spanish sounding guitar and then the real heavy guitars start coming in around the :52 ish mark. Very awesome first OC ReMix by this guy. :rock::rock::rock:

Sonic the Hedgehog: The Sound of Speed

they have a preview for some of the tracks for you to listen too. Love that art for the album. Like some of the tracks I’m hearing…especially digging the Marble Zone remix. Looks like this album should be coming to a close soon probably in the coming months.

When I first listened to this I didn’t know any better way to describe it than what the actual name they gave it. It most certainly is funky and I dig it a good deal.
