Donkey Kong Country 2 Mines ReMix - (Getting) Down In The Mines
An old remix, that suffers from a few things like being mono, but it got some good scores on VG Mix back when that was up, I still like it. I’m planing to remaster it once my friends net label comes up and I get a little online EP out

Katamari Damacy, Katmari Stars ReMix - You Are Adult
Much slower lo-fi chill mix. Pretty minimalistic but I just love the sound.

And speaking of ReMix:ThaSauce, check out the site sometime. I’m one of the music judges, and for those who are wondering what it’s all about, it’s an OCR-ish site with more emphasis on arrangement and having a good sound, instead of amazing production qualities. We have some gems on the site that OCR doesn’t have, or didn’t let on for production issues or otherwise

No WAY!! I can’t believe I didn’t recognize her voice in MSR!!! That is one of my fav Dreamcast games and part of the reason is the freaking sweet music!!

Man, you beat me again on the MMX5 recommendation! The first boss theme was one of my faves and the Bubble Crab remix is pimp.

So you were the one requesting Axelay music years ago at GamingFM.com? Small world, huh? “Colonly” was one of the first songs that I remember hearing. Guess it’s your fault I like Axelay music. :rofl:

MAN, I’d hear “One Winged Angel” every freaking day on the Modern Gaming Station at GamingFM. I love Final Fantasy Music but out of hundreds of songs in the series, request something else!!!

They used to give you 5 requests every hour, but people were abusing the system with those 9-minute Final Fantasy songs. So they changed the request limit to 1 per hour, and it took way too long to hear what you wanted, so that’s the point where you didn’t hear me request that song anymore.

ThaSauce is not only a remix hosting site, but it’s also a “scene portal” for all of video games and music. You can go to the main page at www.thasauce.net and read the latest news in the community posted by users, including a little bar that shows the latest songs posted on the biggest websites

This reception makes me feel like going back and trying to finish a remix that I never got done off SaGa Frontier 2 (I love that series) that follows a similar style. It’s a mess, and I’ve got a whole lot of sample updating but I’ll go for it

You just reminded me to look for some SaGa Frontier 1-2 music. Both games had some really great tracks. I especially loved SF2’s various battle/boss themes.
