Who has HQ versions of SF music?
I used to do my own rips from playing emu soundtests with emu sound sample rate at max fidelity, and all recording settings at max quality. I still have my tracks, but most have been through different HDD’s, so by now, my Strider Hiryu MVC1 is just called some shit like “3 Track 3 42548”, so I d/l’d some music from a popular site because there are named albums with correctly named tracks, but the music is at best half the sample rate and cleanliness as mine.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project 'BTMNTBAMLOL’

If I’m not mistaken they’re doing several different songs from this game and I’m also not sure if I’ve posted about this track before since at one time it was on Metroid Metal’s website. But anyway…this was a track that guys from Armcannon, Metroid Metal, and Weapon Ex. They all came together and submitted this track in the Dwelling of Duels Contest. If you’re not prepared for it…this track will melt your face off…just giving a warning. =D :rock::rock::rock:

I actually think the one thing that makes me love earthbound and mother 3 so much is the aesthetic appeal. Of course by the time Mother 3 came around the graphics were pretty familiar, but the music in both games is absolutely amazing. Couple that with the intimate storylines and general quirkiness and you have a winning combination.
“It is Finished”, “Battle with the Masked Man”, “Porky’s Battle Theme”, all amazing songs. And pretty much every song in Earthbound is just fantastic. I’m definitely going to check these out when I get home.

Yeah, I’ve been as well. It was fucking sick! The video game pianist came and played a lot of great songs, and it was really long… at one point I expected it to wrap up then it was just the intermission. The one song I wanted to hear was to zanarkand and the pianist played it but only for a bit, so i was still happy.
Tommy Tallarico is a friend of mine on facebook =P the girl i was with and i stayed the whole time after and met all the crew, it was awesome. we got a signed poster for my buddy back home since he couldn’t come. sickness!

I just want to say that I am moved by the greatness that is the Sonic Mega CD Japanese Soundtrack. good lord, it’s good music. If anyone knows any game(s) with similar music, then by all means hook a brotha up.
Also, definitely check out the TMNT2: Battle Nexus GBA soundtrack. It’s underrated as hell.
I’m not really sure how to introduce this weeks shares. The music from this series ins LEGENDARY, and yet the franchise is so under-appreciated.
I hope you all like Ys music because I’ve got a ton of it.
Ys (pronounced “Yees” or “ees”) is Falcom’s action/RPG series. It made it’s debut in 1987 and has a musical score that is on par with the best RPG soundtracks out there. Many themes are arrangements of older tracks, but that’s OK because even the oldest of Ys music is astonishing. If you’ve never heard of any music from Ys before the time has come to educate yourself. I’ve spent the better part of my Thanksgiving weekend listening to various Ys scores so I can tell you first hand that Ys music ain’t nothin’ to eff with. The great Yuzo Koshiro himself has even had a hand in contributing to some Ys soundtracks.
From original soundtracks, arrange albums, vocal and end even some piano collections, Ys music has a lot to offer. I wish I could say this is every piece of Ys music currently available but alas, I could not get everything. I was, however, able to get a large chunk of it. This batch of shares gets my highest recommendations. I’d rank Ys music right up there with Street Fighter and Mega Man music. It’s that freaking good.

source is ‘course clear fanfare’, ‘Main BGM#1’, ‘Overworld BGM’, 'Overworld BGM’and ‘Underground BGM’. It’s a pretty fun mix…It mixes Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Land and Super Mario Bros. 2 into a nice little medley.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening 'Waking the Fish’
source is ‘Ballad of the Windfish’. I had to listen to the original source first since I was a bit unfamiliar with it. It feels Raveish with a mix of Daft Punk (the description makes a reference to Daft’s ‘Digital Love’…which I can hear a tad but not completely IMO). I find it to be a pretty cool mix…love the piano and the synth solo.
Banjo-Kazooie 'Wallachian Prince’
source is ‘Tooty’s Theme’. First off…I’ve barely played any Banjo-Kazooie games. I mainly decided to give this a listen to because OA did it. This sounds quite epic…and I dig it a lot even without hearing the source track.
