So I’ve been playing tons and tons of Darkest Dungeon as is my wont, and I have to say the sheer depth of this game is staggering. I’m only just now getting to the mission to kill the last boss of The Crimson Court even though the DLC’s been out for years. The gameplay loop is so solid but it has so much room for planning over several in-game weeks. I cannot get enough of that grindy shit in RPGs. Maybe that’s why I’m still playing Final Fantasy X after all these years.

I thought that darkest dungeon was pretty cool. Its not something I play cause I dont like turn based shit but still a good game I’d tell people that like those kinda games to play.
This xbox pass thing is pretty cool. Get to try out some games I would have never considered cause you know, they on xbox and I dont own one.
Anybody else can’t shake the feeling of Avengers just being Anthem levels of bad? Like nothing they’ve shown so far is exciting, and the game’s less than 3 months away, so it’s pretty much finished

Outside of the armor/weapons grind the game looks a lot better than it initially did. But yeah, I’m still not feeling it, really.

Old game you grind the combat to get to the story, new game you grind the story to get to the cool boss fights.
That’s actually how it feels with a lot of story heavy games. I’m just there watching shit until i get to do something. Its terrible.
