i’m close to finishing xenoblade definitive this will technically be the 3rd time i’ve played xenoblade 1. i normally have a hard time replaying a lot of jrpg’s made after the dreamcast era because of the filler inherent to a lot of these games but xenoblade 1 and 2 push that stuff to optional side quests. at worst both these games have dungeons that drag on a little too long towards the end but that’s my only complaint really.
also definitive edition kept all the leveling exploits for anyone interested in powering through the story you can get to level 50-60 within 5 minutes of getting sharla by running through a wall. also kept the other method of putting the level 78 apes to sleep and pushing them off a cliff but you need melia for that one.

Well, when I play an action style game I want to push more than 13 buttons in an hour. Thats like a point and click game. I didnt buy into the hype for tlou to end up playing a fuckin’ point and click action adventure but thats what it felt like.
Edit - I did finish the game. The story was cool. The gameplay was trash doe. I took me over a year to finish it cause the gameplay was so boring.

That thumb nail reminds me that for some reason that Avengers game looks pretty ugly to me. I think going for a realistic MCU look might have been a mistake.

You wanna talk about the pathetic AI, the removing of old mons to “improve animations” according to the directors when they literally recycled them from the 3DS and the posterior selling of them as DLC or do you want to talk about the mess of a story, even by Pokémon standards?

Seriously. I am critical of games. It gets under people’s skin some times. I understand that.
But I don’t shut down discussions, of any kind. I have no problems at being called out for anything I say or do. Honestly.
All I asked was for the same standard to be held for everyone. That’s not a lot.
