Name a Spider-Man game that has better combat, web swinging and story than Web of Shadows.

yāknow, it wonāt happen but it would be amusing to me if at least 1 or more Smash tournaments out there actually ban the āSteveā characterā¦not even for him turning out to be a game-breakerā¦but just because heās one of the lamest characters in gaming history.

The PS4 game. The combat for all of the Activision games were fucking trash. The Arkham style combat we got with PS4 is miles above anything we ever got from anything made by Activision.
The story? That shitty symbiote invasion story that had the whiniest most bitch made version of Peter imaginable?

I love Web of Shadows, but letās be real. Everything outside of the swinging and combat itself was booty.
Those things just happened to be so good that it carried the entire game.

Combat in Web of Shadows is not fucking trash, gtfo. It without a doubt still has the best combat and swinging.
Peter being whiny and bitchmade is a shtick more often than not.
Preferred symbiote invasion. I couldnāt feel much in Ps4 and honestly never cared bout any of it.
Edit: I cared with the Black Cat segments. Sheās awesome.

Peter is never that whiny. He acted like an emo teenager writing entries on live journal. Even when he wasnāt upset about something he still sounded like he was wallowing. Listening to him in that game was fucking painful.
I thought the combat was trash. Too much slow mo with webbing, enemies were often easily line up to be taken out like you using the homing attack in a Sonic game. Lame as fuck.
Huh, I thought the combat was awesome. It was so insane and free form. It reminded me more of Bayonetta than a typical Spidey game which is why I loved it so much.
To me, top 3 Spidey games are Sony Spidey, WOS, then Ultimate. In that order.
For me itās PS4 Spidey > Ultimate > Shattered Dimensions
I must admit, that Spider-Man 2099 and Noir made Shattered Dimensions a favorite for me
