While I can’t argue sexy cat superhero/villain is far from a unique trait or gimmick, Black Cat is pretty good when written well. Yeah she is usually being a foil for Spidey but her being a thief, luck based powers (when they remember she has them or Don’t depower her) and usually more playful tone makes her good IMO. But if the creators are not interested in using her traits to enhance the story it makes for boring shit can’t lie.
In games you literally have so few good ways to build a good story beat without it being exposition dumps, it is sad her best outing is Web of Shadows and assist power ups in the 16 bit games.
Web of Shadows is still the pinnacle of Spidey games. No shame in that.

I loved the video+his video on Red Dead 2. He talked about how in older GTA games you had multiple ways to finish missions, in games almost 20 years old, but in RDR2 if you stray just a little bit from what the mission wants you to do you get a game over screen.
Jakey is also noticing how samey a lot of AAA games feel. Points out all the bullshit fluff you have to deal with to get a little bit of gameplay.
