That makes sense since that is exactly what Memetos is for since you can’t re-enter palaces after completing them unlike previous games. It’s where you go to grind, pick up rare items, and Persona you missed in the Palaces and can’t fuse.
I think the trick to Memetos is to be diligent about it and keep up with it over the course of the year or else you’ll be trying to dig through the whole thing at once and yea…that can be pretty tiring and boring.

Oh yeah I wanted to ask back when I was playing through P5. What happens if you never went down Mementos much? Do you have to go through all the floors in the end?
Yes Memetos is required to complete the game since you know what is at the bottom.
If you ignore Memetos the whole game then you have to do all of it at once at the end. I don’t recommend that strat…at all. I like Memetos and even I don’t want to do all of it at once like that.

To be more specific to what was said, yes it is required to get through Mementos however for the most part it is not required to take on the actual Mementos Requests outside of a couple that will be forced upon you. Though many Confidants require you to take on at least once to complete them and life will be a lot harder if you don’t.

PS2 emulator leaves alot to be desired. You got to adjust configurations of the Emulator per game to get each any every game to run correctly. There alot of unknowns on how the PS2 hardware works still so for the High Level Emulator its all vague guess work, and multiple hardware revisions make the guess work even less accurate. You also need ALOT of system resources to run a PS2 game at full speed. Hell older consoles like the N64 and Saturn still runs buggy as fuck. The N64 needs to use per-game plug-ins, config files and some roms need to be patch to run correctly in an emulator.
There some machine perfect emulators like BSNES and Higain for the SNES, it uses low level emulation, where every chip and component is almost perfectly simulated in software. The drawl back is you need alot of system resources to run that low level emulation. Like BSNES can put all but the high end gaming rigs on their knees running SNES games.
