ah, it frustrates me that there’s so much Diablo rambling that hardly anyone else aside from hardcore fans could ever really “get”… like recently I was caught off guard once again by a friend’s situation in the game… just in casual conversation about it and the new season I reminded him to do the Challenge Rift since the reward bag you get for that is a huge deal for a fresh character… he tried and actually couldn’t even start it. Apparently you need to have done a Greater Rift solo before you do a Challenge one… and once again there I was trying to not laugh at the fact that in all these years he has NEVER done this, apparently. So…for years he was only getting carried through GRs by my characters, and never actually running them solo.
GEARS 5----I’m up to Captain rank now in the Tour of Duty…I think the next thing after that series is the Major ranks…
Since I’m not spending that little bit of “iron” on anything else, I went ahead and used it on “boost” which will last me a day; a boost gives you double xp and double the amount of stars…though the odd thing is that the double stars only seems to be for some of challenges.
Finally got around to really playing the 3ds Shinobi this week. Just got to level 7, and holy shit, this game is punishing. I like difficult old school games, but I’m finding myself wishing I had done this initial playthrough on easy due to how goddamn long these levels are. Limited lives with ~15 minute levels that are pretty cruel to begin with is rather sadistic for “normal” difficulty. Beyond that, it seems like the kind of game I could really sink my teeth into over time. I still can’t help but think actual 2d (rather than 2.5d) would have been better though.
Shit I think I just got a steal of a deal here, Just got this $50 White Japanese Sega Saturn off eBay sold as Broken/Untested for $50 (plus $12 shipping). Not just it works great, but I found this in the rear Slot.
I tried out a game called Detroit: Become Human. Like I figured, its kinda boring to play. I mean, you dont do much but push a few buttons here and there and move your character around. I decided to think of it more like a point and click adventure game. Less pointing and more clicking doe. Its trippy and real pretty. Story is about how humans use androids (that look and act human) for all kinda work and shit and the anroids, some of them, are starting to become more human than anroid. You take control of 3 different anroids as far as I can tell and each is a different story. Could be more and they may all tie in together. I’ll find out cause I actually like it.
Oh man, I was so pumped when I heard about this game. Then I saw it, and it was just . Was hoping for something more stylized? Are you playing it on a 3DS? I was thinking about grabbing one after all this shit I talked about it.
I’m on Stage 8-2 in Shinobi on the PS2. The middle platform area. I never beat the boss for this stage so I have to start over again. Unlike the PS2 game not sure if I could come around to the 3DS version, but who knows.
I went hard on this for the last couple days. I’m taking it easy and I’m just gonna treat this like a weekly samurai series and take my time with it.
