I seriously never understood the massive gushing over Fallout 3 maybe it’s because I never played the DLC or New Vegas but considering how meh F3 was I’m not going to care much if bethesda’s game is F4, give me Doom4 instead.
Also Didn’t Sim City just come out like a month or two ago? Damn typical EA lol. Well it has offline…hopefully they learned their lesson, not that I care much because I’m not a sims fan.
A sequel to the best tower defense and one of the most addictive games ever? Yes please!
To be fair, the Move is just there. At best Sony only devotes 30 minutes of their conference to the thing and only showcases one or two games for it. Not like Mircosoft that would make it the entire focus of their conference.
To be fair it’s still them making us deal with games developed entirely around a peripheral, which i have no problem with, I’m just tired of this double standard that some how Nintendo are the only ones doing something people don’t like while Sony and Microsoft are squeeky clean cuz blinded fanboy bullshit.
For those interested…GI is going to be revealing their cover tomorrow and supposedly it’s going to be the longest cover story they’ve done so far. It’s not going to be Bethesda’s game and it’s not going to be GTA V related.
Damn, not the Bethesda game even though everyone knows it’s gonna be Fallout 4. There’s the Zelda cycle and the Sonic cycle, well there should be a Bethesda cycle too. There’s a reason why I had Skyrim as both the best and worst game of 2011.
Every time a new Bethesda title is announced, the pre-release hype goes through the roof and upon release it receives glowing reviews from critics, sells millions and breaks all kinds of records. But then after playing the game for a hundred hours people realize the game’s still running the same shitty Gamebryo-ken engine (no matter what bullshit Bethesda’s marketing tries to say), the writing hasn’t improved, the combat stays some of the worst in the genre and “Morrowind was better”.
I dunno why anyone gets excited for anything Bethesda makes. All their games are shitty, clunky, garbage ass pieces of shit, full of glitches and errors and terrible shallow writing, like shallow terribad even for gaming.
Man…You’re bringing up old wounds right now. I didn’t even realize that the main guy responsible for making Kinect was also the one that made Icon until I looked it up some years ago…shakes fist KUUUUUDOOOOOOOOO!!!
Because they put their games on PC and support the modding community by releasing the game editor and Beth games have one of the largest mod communities out there. I support any company that lets players tinker with their games, be it Blizzard (SC2 map editor), Firaxis (Civ IV and V), Runic Games (Torchlight), or Valve. I know it’s a foreign concept to console only players but the option to mod games is a huge selling point for PC gamers. Plus what Bethesda does do well, that is world-building and crafting an open explorable environments and allowing players to do whatever they want, they still do a good job at. And now you know why.
