I don’t even have to get upset at Nintendo this year cause they don’t have a conference. This is gonna be the best E3 ever.
if you still have faith in the video games industry u havent been paying attention
when inafune dipped out capcom…that was a major wake up call
The only thing I have faith in is that I can’t be disappointed if I keep my expectations as low as theoretically possible.
Only if your entire view of the gaming industry revolves around Inafune for some odd reason.
Am I the only person not as excited as usual for this year’s E3? I am literally more interested about what’s going to happen on the business end. Like how much are the consoles going to cost, and how well they are going to sale. I’m really curious…
It’s a going to be a bit of a dilemma. If the new consoles are truly going to be more powerful, will they sell them at a loss and make the profit from online services and such, or will they sell these new consoles for close to $700-$1000 in this economy? Or heck, will these new machines only be slightly better and worth the $400 price tag.
They already sell the 360 and ps3 at a loss, and rumor has it the next gen systems are going to be around the same price as the current gen ones were, so, yea, probably be selling at a loss too.
Just be part of the master race and all your problems, and questions about the inferior console race will disappear.
Master Race lacks Platinum Games making them fall short of the name “Master Race.”
They’re still the master race.
Not for me they’re not. Funny enough consoles still offer entertainment that PCs don’t. Fuckin PC is just another console to me, it has some stuff I like and lacks others i want, just like the consoles.
This PC Master Race shit is annoying, cuz while there are a lot of benefits to using PCs for gaming, PC users like to ignore the fact that PCs aren’t all encompassing when it comes to this subject.
We need the Delete button back, seriously.
i hope this E3 year will be better than the last, these companies need to stop forcing gimmicky peripherals down our throats
…Well this probably won’t be a great one then considering they’ll be shoveling their new consoles and likely peripherals down our throats.
Peripherals now, peripherals forever.
Because the game companies jamming peripherals down our throats is a new thing "Looks at Power Glove, Sega CD, and dozens of other gaming add ons piled up in the closet.*
By “companies” do you mean “Nintendo”?
(Also thinks to the peripheral-pitch, the WiiU has been ABSOLUTELY TANKING in sales lately. I mean absolutely god damn horrible.)
I’d get excited about E3, but MS are revealing the Xbox earlier, and using E3 to market games instead of tech (a very wise move since that’s where Sony are going to be making some serious moves.)
If even half of the rumours about the Xbox720 are true (no used games, always-online, etc) then I’m booking it and getting a Ps4 instead, which is looking like the better option every day right now.
I am really glad that MS have decided they will include the price of a year of XBL with the cost of the next xbox, though. That is actually quite a smart move. Whether it’ll be worth it, well, only time will tell.
I’m sure he also means Microsoft and Kinect, where we all had to sit through devs shoe horning Kinect features into their games, like the gun assembly system in Battlefield or whatever, and Sony and the Move and whatever that Dream Book shit was last year, but hey lets keep pretending Nintendo is the only one who does this, the rest of the gaming community seems happy doing it.
^Because Kinect and PS Move don’t exist and MS being so desperate to whore out Kinect they turned Rare into a Kinect shovelware factory never happened.
crotchpuncha is a prime example of how being fat is nullified by being funny and affable. Oh and it’s sad if Ilumiroom is Xbox Infinite exclusive but even then it’s very possible the modding community will make it work for PC. Even if it’s MS exclusive as long as it works as advertised and us under $100 I’ll buy, unlike Kinect it actually looks useful and fun not gimmicky.
Also let’s be real most of us have back logs that will keep us away from buying a new console until a price drop in 2015.
That’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me Zoo.
if VR takes off and everyone falls in love with it you’ll be begging for peripherals
