Exactly. We always get a renaissance at the end of their Cycles. 2006 was such an enjoyable year. One of my favorites in video games. The best E3 too.
I just wanted to say this somewhere:
I bet $10 Sora (or some other Square Enix character) is gonna be one of the 3rd party characters in the new Smash Bros.
Hell no. Not Sora. As Much as I would be for it. …nope. I wouldn’t even consider a Square character to be in it. I’m holding my tongue before any more 3rd party is even in it. Snake probably won’t return but I’m not sure.

Speculation and hype over Smash’s roster will build to ridiculous levels after the game has been revealed. I wouldn’t start that stuff up until after the game has been revealed and a proper thread made for it. I will say this though…Sora is probably somewhere middle high to middle on probably a long list of characters that people would want in that game. Thinking about it now they probably should have put him in PS All-Stars…

Considering these a similar circumstances surrounding Sonic being in SSBB I think a Square Enix character has a decent chance of being a 3rd party character in SSB4

EDIT: I don’t normally get involved in character speculation, but if I see Sora’s bitch ass anywhere near Smash Bros. before Geno, Mega Man, or a playable Little Mac, tables will be flipped and Square Enix’s main office will be firebombed daily.
