i definitely don’t think konami can make a good mgs but if they can use that license to make slot machines/movies/collections or whatever then hell naw why would they give it up. what’s more likely is that sony pays them enough money to use the brand and make a ps5 exclusive while konami still gets money from that project and all the other shit they have going on.

Konami will keep a lot of their most known IP’s since they make hundreds of millions a year in licensing out the character likenesses to Pachinko Machine companies And hotel chains

I am sure the two would broker a deal that would make them both alot of money, perhaps a shared ownership or that Sony just gets the rights to make video games while Konami keeps the rights to license out the IP to machines and dumb shit.

Survivor was a train wreck. No one said otherwise. This is about their Pachinko business which they use their game licenses to help support as video content to attract people. Konami ain’t gonna give a shit about Metal Gear games when they can put in half the effort and cash and pull in mad Yen through gambling. Survivor has fuck all to do with anything.
I don’t see them selling their IPs to anyone when they can continue to be used to prop up their gambling business which continues to grow and do well for them.
Do I like it? No, but it is what it is.

Nioh 2s Burst Attacks are already starting to piss me the fuck off. Shit feels so unreliable and since fucking it up will get you killed I end up mad 50% of the time.
Just got back from St. Thomas and played The Messenger for a good 2.5 hours on my flight. God damn that game is so good. I am past “the part” and now on the second half of the game and it’s awesome how it transitions into that style of game. I love everything about it.
I also played One Finger Death Punch a bit too. It’s a lot of fun but it does get pretty repetitive. If the presentation on the game wasn’t as good as it is, it wouldn’t be as fun at all.
I should have stayed in St. Thomas while this covid stuff gets underway. There aren’t any confirmed cases there yet and 12 in my county.
