Also, I really don’t get why some think it’s so ugly. What exactly do ya’ll want? I’m so sick of this boring ass box design that we’ve had for the PS2, Xbox, Xbone and PS4. Change it up some. Make it look like the futuristic piece of tech it’s supposed to be.

Cause white casing and finishes on tech are ugly as hell, imo. The idea is white casing/finishes make them look sleek or a luxury item but they do it in such a shade of white or such a finish it just comes off as gross, tacky and cheap

They target 60 yes but it’s not locked and often choppy. Though I can’t speak for SotFS on console since I never tried it.
That’s fine for you but I like tech like this to blend in. I like black as a color (especially for my tech), white will be easier to get dirty.
PS2 looked futuristic when it came out. Still looks like it to me today. I mean that statement is subjective as what looks like something futuristic now won’t tomorrow.

Yeah the more I look at it the more I hate the cd tray. If I were to get one, I’d honestly just go the digital route. Everything else about it I think looks nice.
I’ve never had that issue. The first two have always maintained 60 for me (outside of Blightttown) and 3 never dipped even once when I played it on my Pro.
I dunno, I see no real reason to doubt this Remaster will be in 60FPS lol
Good thing about the obvious casing is that maybe it’ll also come in different colors and white is just the standard.
That design with a black casing would be cool, but I’m way too biased towards black.
Controller is still fugly and way too bulky btw. It’s like the opposite of the console.
The PS5 isn’t ugly per se, but it looks like they’re trying too hard with the design. Also not a big fan of the mostly white look and I’d at least would love the option of laying it horizontally (who knows, maybe you can).
But stuff like this is why I’ve learned to wait out consoles now. Between the possible launch issues on the hardware, software updates/improvements, and future iterations of the same console/controllers (different colors, slim and pro versions), I feel like waiting is the best option imo.
The games look great and I’m excited for that alone, but those will have deluxe/ultimate/goty editions that’ll be cheaper 1 or 2 years after they launch.
I hope you guys enjoy all of this, but I’m comfortable with my PS4 Pro for now. But who knows, I might change my tune 3 or 4 years down the line lol!

I’m buying the console, but that design is still not good to me. I’ll come around though, I’m thinking.
I’m hearing XBOX is going to have its in-depth reveal in July. They better come with the fucking heat after this. I immediately made the PS5 an Item I’m budgeting towards, though I’m assuming it’s 600.
